Question: Hi, I am 185 and 5'10'' I am planning to loose 10 pounds in 16 days.Do you think I can do it by doing this work out 2 times a day : 5 min Jogging 10x push ups 20x Jumping jacks 15x crunches 5 min jogging 10x push ups 5 min jogging 10x crunches 20x Jumping jacks and the following diet for 2 weeks: Day 1: Milk and cereal One Apple 2 eggs and a peace of bread One orange, Almond Vegetables soup Pineapples Day 2: Oatmeal One Apple Cooked vegetables Dates, Bananas Lentil Soup, Bread Strawberries Day 3: Milk and cereal One orange Salad Bananas 4 eggs, Bread Almonds, Dates Day 4: Oatmeal Apples Fruit Salad Seeds Pasta Oranges Day 5: Milk Cereal Oranges 3 eggs, Bread Apples, Almonds Red Beans Soup Fruit Salad

You seem very detailed on your workout and diet plan. That is great. I would recommend quality over quantity. The most effective way of exercise is using free weights and circuit training. Here are some tips on diet and exercise. You can try it if you wish. As for diet, try eating 6 smaller meals a day with a protein shake for breakfast and lunch. A single serving of fruit for mid-morning and mid-afternoon snack. Dinner should be a sensible meal- minimize rice and breads. Try this for a two-week period. Then, vary your meals accordingly. Workouts should have weights and circuit type of training. Free weights are great for toning and weight-loss. You can try dumbbell squats with shoulder presses. Here is a great and effective circuit training using a treadmill. Walk for 2 minutes (as a warm-up), jog for 2 minutes, run hard for a minute, then jog for 2 minutes, run hard for a minute, etc...do this for about 20-23 minutes. This works great. By the way, do not be a slave to scale. Check the mirror also. It will show results. This is just a start. Keep working out and eating properly. Good Luck. Ok, you can lose some, but probobly not as much as you want. Go a few days or just eating protien, ie fish, meat. AVOID carbohydrates and sugar. Fizzy drinks are BANNED. Walk a lot, and do as much excersise as you can. Drink water frequently. If you are going to eat fruit, do so for breakfast. Modern society has taught us that eating fruit and vegetables will make us lose weight, but fruit has lots of sugar, so suprisingly does some vegetables. Losing weight is just tapping into your energy reserves in the form of fat. Eating protien will help this, and wont' make you feel hungry as you lose loads amount of fat.

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

make sure you drink plenty of water...and try green tea :D It revs ur metabolism :D but it sounds great to me!!! 10 in 16 might be a lil harsh ...maybe 8 some of the muscle you put on might weigh more too so don't be disappointed if you don't lose the 10 lbs :D otherwise ur plan sounds awesome good luck!!!!

As with most diets if you follow it carefully Slimming World is very effective. It also encourages you to eat fresh whole food which if obviously a benefit too. You don't actually have to cook it all from scratch there are lots of pre prepared meals which are free or low in sins and stuff like naked beans and tinned spaghetti are free on green days too. If you are careful you can hope for a loss of 3-5 pinfa in the first week (you lose a lot of water in the first week ). After that you should get a steady 1-2 pounds a week though often its more. You can eat plenty of the right foods to fill yourself up. Its bad news for chickens when I do it. My health kick starts tomorrow, good luck!
