You wouldn’t try to build a house with only bricks, so why try to build abs by just doing sit-ups! The journey to 6-pack abs takes a combination of nutrition, cardio, and variation.

Variation- Doing traditional sit-ups everyday is not only monotonous, but a time waster! There are so many variations that you can put into your workout to rev your body up and make your abs pop!
The Crunch- you know the standard crunch
Variation #1 Crossed Arms Crunch
Cross your arms and slowly raise your rib cage to your pelvis, slowly return to starting position
Variation #2 Weighted Crunch
Perform same as above with a weight plate across your chest.
Variation #3 Wrist-to-Knee Crunch
Lie faceup with your hips and knees bent 90 degrees so that your lower legs are Parallel to the floor. Place your fingers on the sides of your forehead. Life your shoulders off the floor and hold them there. Twist your upper body to the right as you pull your right knee in as fast as you can until it touches your left wrist. Simultaneously straighten your left leg. Return to the starting position and repeat to the right.
Variation #4 Raised Legs Crunch
Lie on your back with your hips bent 90 degrees and your legs straight. Hold your arms straight above your chest. Reach for your toes by crunching your head and shoulders off the floor. Lower your head and shoulders to the staring position.

first of all, are you a boy or a girl?
if you are a boy, make sure what eat is healthy. u know...fruits veggies pasta. dont eat chocolate or greasy foods or fried food either. also, six packs dont just come magically even if ur eatting right. six packs come from working out too...therefore u will need to workout! go to the gym and workout, do anything that will be more tiring than what u suually do. for instance, if u ride and elevator, use the stairs. but u also actaully need to go to the gym on top of all that! drink protein shakes too after working out. it will make you 3x stronger after each workout.believe me...i know because my brother's NHL draft year is this year and he has trained his whole life. he is jacked.
if you are a girl, you need to do the saem thing as a boy except the eatting might be different. dont eat unnecessary snacks. girls have slower metabolisms as gguys so we can stuff our faces like guys can do...well some guys can do lol. only eat when you are actually hungry,and maybe 1-2 SMALL snacks a day..like an apple. dont eat junk food like greasy foods, fried foods, or chocolate/sugary foods. and when you are actually hungry, EAT. dont starve yourself. but...dont eat to the point where u cant eat no more. you need to eat to the point where you dont feel hungry. not to the point where your stuffed. workout just like it said in the guys section. im a gymnast so i know haha.
You will have to do at least 50 for a day. But it would take a long time to get a good looking six pack.

You want a quick answer? It all lies with dieting and cardio. Period. No amount of ab exercises will help if you don't do cardio.

It depends on your body type. Usually though, about 3 sets of 30-40 in the morning. and same again in the evening.

You cannot do it instantly, and depending on your genetics / body type results are very individual. Abdominal muscles are only visable when body fat is stripped off.
Diet is the most important thing in acheiving a six pack. 1 million crunches a day will not be any good if you have a poor diet. cruches and ab work outs only strengthen the muscles and do not result in pure definition.
Keep your diet strict (be honest), keep a diary of what you eat, whrn you eat it, how you look, how you feel. Doing this will help you identify progress as it is a long progress.
Also if you are trying to bulk up and gain muscle it is almost imposable to bulk up and strip fat.
Finally unless you are a competative bodybuilder / model you dont need to have a six pack all year round. Proportion and symmetry of muscle looks great when combined with a flat stomach.
The key is to enjoy training and dont be defeatest if you don not become Arnie over night!
