Question: How can I loose 30 pounds in 2 months? Summer vacation, I'm 5'3,Female.. Just about 15, and 175lbs.. I wanna be confident and love how I look when school roles around again. Any little methods I can do just to speed it up? I'm dancing and jogging now, and eating healthier. Just need some help and tips etc. I'm not doing this for anyone else but myself. I accept myself, but to an extent. Thanks for the help.. <3

Drink lots of water, especially when you work out. Make sure the water is cold because your body will have to work harder to consume it. Get up early and eat breakfast. Don't starve yourself. Eat frequent, small meals to speed up your metabolism. Plenty of vegetables, fruit, and lean meat. If you're a vegetarian, get your protein from other sources like beans. Avoid pasta, white rice, and bread whenever possible - they are not necessary for human health and you get carbohydrates from vegetables, anyway. A good tip I learned was: don't eat anything that doesn't occur naturally in nature. Don't eat anything processed with a ton of chemicals. Add weight lifting to your regimen to help lose weight faster. You can just use your own body weight, you don't need to purchase actual weights. When you weigh yourself, do it in the morning after you go to the bathroom and before you eat or drink. That way, you will get the most accurate number.

Great to hear that you want to improve yourself and willing to work for it! Make an appointment to see your doctor. Based on your medical insurance, you may have access to a nutrionist and they can tell you how much calories you need a day to reach your weight goal and menu plans. Some insurance may even cover or pay a part of YMCA membership. I would encourage you to continue with eating healthier. Eat 3 meals a day, or 5 small meals (graze). Don't starve. By eating your meal early in the day, it preps your metabolism to "work", so it'll burn off the calories instead of storing them into fat. Proportion your foods. Don't eat from containers. Scoop the amount you want in a bowl to prevent from overeating. Drink lots of water with lemon. Plain water is just as good, but may make you feel bloated Be sure to read the food labels. Stay away from foods where the fat calorie intake is greater than 33%. Nutritionist or your doctor can help you with this.Limit your starch intake, and use the stairs as much as you can. Continue your dancing and jogging. I recommend hiking, swimming, and tennis. Important tip: Don't overdo it. You are at a time where your body is going through many stages, and you don't want to overstress your system by starving. Drink 1-2% milk and take multivitamins so you'll continue to grow. I also recommend you to not set yourself for failure. It's good that you set a goal to lose that amount of weight, but in 2 months? Not realistic. By not reaching your goal, you might feel defeated, depressed and give up. Crash dieting and drinking lose-weight fast potions will only confuse your body, have you lose the weight, then gain more weight afterwards. Confuse your body: Stop growing, lose hair, develop brittle nails, throw off your metabolism, throw off your menses, etc. Epic fail. Go slowly and celebrate your realistic goals by getting a nice hair cut or new pair of shoes. Good luck!

I drink lemonade for snacks.. First you squeeze the lemonade and add water but do not add sugar!!. And when you wake up in the morning, before you eat anything, drink some lemonade. And if u do eat rice, Do not eat rice or bread for dinner, maybe a little bit but they both are for energy, like dancing, jogging, going to school. but if you eat them in dinner, and you mostly sleep, reading and watching tv, the energy has no where to go. and drink about 1.200mg calcium every day. And for me, I dont eat after 6:30. And lettuce is good for diet, since you get full eating them without eating other things. Hope this is helps (PS: i lost a few kilos because of this)

I think you need to lose a little more than 30 lbs...You will still be very close to overweight 140. To be a healthy person you should weigh about 135.. You need to make sure you don't eat anymore than 2000 calories a day & you need to spend an hour every other night of the week walking or running. Otherwise you will look the same when school starts up.
