I have been through it all and know what's it about. The main thing is to stick in there. You can't be an addict to food and never exercise if you want to live a healthy life and keep the weight off. I've worked out, done every diet, and all types of classes.
Nothing works, besides dedication and intelligence towards the subject of losing weight.
First, depending on how much weight you need to lose, your diet is the first concern. You can't eat 10,000 calories a day and expect the weight to come off, even if you are exercising a lot. Which brings us to the next thing. Duh, Exercising...
This is a must especially if you need to a lot of weight. Get at least 30 mins of some good hardcore exercising. Do some cardio, in the long run, it's good for the heart.
However, I find the most hardest part of losing weight/keeping it off, in my diet. It's so hard to keep your fingers out of the cookie jar or those chocolate goodies. I've found a great addition to help any one out, it's a natural weight loss supplement called Proactol. Now don't get all crazy on me and say diet pills don't work. That is true, but not in this case. This one isn't meant to burn pounds while you sit on the couch. It's an appetite suppressant, along with being a fat binder. I saved money on the pills at theweightlossplace.com along with getting some good info. It basically makes those fingers not go towards the cookie jar. For me it's the best pill I've tried and I've tried cupboards full. Now this doesn't mean you have to follow my foot steps but I've successfully lost roughly 70 pounds and keeping it off til this day.

If she bought them at Ross they definitely are not approved diet pills but unapproved dietary supplements. Don't contain a single compound or drug proven to do anything.
Most likely just a blend of herbs, spices, and caffeine.

I have tried out every diet under the sun but nothing worked as good as acai berry. I know they say that pills will not work, however they sure worked for me, and they've been showcased on CNN too. Actually, you don't have to diet in fact if you want to lose weight, the one thing that really delivered for me is wu-yi tea, it can be checked out in the resource box underneath, they have a small number of free trials left, it was reported in Fox News and CNN. I shed 25 pounds, it really does produce success!

here are a few tips i really think will help you out. i've been studying nutrition for some time now. people ask me all the time for advice. these are usually a few things i tell them if they want a quick conversation... lol or i could go on for hours
1)avoid hydrogenated food as best as you can. most fast food is cooked/fried in hydrogenated oils/fats. hydrogenated fat has been linked to belly fat and has the wonderful artery clogging qualities (check labels for this, you will be surprised by how many things are hydrogenated). there are tons places online you can read about this.
common hydrogenated food:
peanut butter (don't forget pb in candies)
store bought icing
things in vending machine
crackers (like ritz).. some companies are changing tho!
refried beans (from cans, taco bell..)
2) drink more water. drink green tea (no sugar). green tea has so many wonderful health benefits.. again there are lots of places to read about this online. start to think of soda as a dessert. the green tea/ or darker teas may help with caffeine withdrawals from the soda. lose leaf japanese green tea is the best (i drink it to help me with my bowel movements too)
3) diet foods aren't always the answer. i never eat them. they usually contain more sugar and salt than the norm food. and they usually taste bad. the only diet foods i eat are milk and cheese.

i live in the southern midwest and finding healthy alternative food is always a challenge for me. especially being busy with school.. taco bell is just a block away! food that fills me up and are quick and easy to make:
-baked potatoes with olive oil and a little salt
-baked salmon with some soy sauce and seasoning or some hot sauce and honey
-brown rice/ jasmine rice
-stir fry veggies (in olive oil or canola oil) with shrimp and oyster sauce
-bean dishes from whole beans
-homemade chicken salad sandwiches on whole wheat/multi grain bread
anyways this is just a few things.. feel free to ask me more specific questions and i'll try to answer.
