Topic: How to lose weight before school starts.?
October 18, 2019 / By Bernie Question:
I'm 5'9" and 145 pounds. I don't feel very comfortable with my body and I want to lose weight. I wear size 9 pants and I want to drop to atleast size 5 or 3.. I would go totally lower if I could.. :3
What are some tips to keep me motivated in dieting? I hate exercising and healthy food so this is always challenging for me. xD

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).
How to motivate yourself to exercise.
1. Do it with a friend.
Statistics tell us that people who exercise with a friend are more
successful at exercising consistently. You can keep each other
accountable. Knowing that someone is waiting for you to exercise with
them can be great motivation to show up and get it done!
2. Do exercising which you enjoy. For example, you find running
boring. You can replace it with any other cardio activity: roller
blading, playing badminton, tennis, bicycling burn a lot of
calories, and you feel more like you are having fun, than like you are
punishing yourself for that extra doughnut.
3. Choose music you like, dynamic and vigourous, to make it more
4. Check regularly with your clothes, see how they become bulkier,
whoop from joy, photograph the progress and create a photo gallery on
5. Set fitness goals, independent on weight loss. For example, say to
yourself "Next time, I will run quicker, and it will take me only ten
minutes to do so", or such. You will feel like a real athlete,
preparing for a big day. Keep a journal of your athletic achievements.
6. Compete. Enrol into a local amateur tennis competition, for
example. This way, you will have a goal to achieve, which is different
from your weight loss, and you will have people to impress and you
will have to be adequate, so you'll try harder.
7. Reward yourself (but not with food, you will end eating more than
you burned, and will become disillusioned quickly). Invent a set of
rules for yourself, for example: every time I am not feeling like
exercising, but do it, I will put 1 dollar in my piggy bank, every
time I achieve this or that goal - three. At the end of the month go
out and buy yourself the most impractical things you were craving but
denying yourself with this money.
8. Do not wait for some big moment or big day to start exercising.
There are spaces in your daily schedule when you procrastinate - fill
them with activities. For example, instead of sitting on the couch,
saying "It does not matter, I am going to the gym the next day", get
off and do a series of push ups, or skip with the skipping rope (buy
it for one dollar in one dollar store), walk down the stairs at work
or around the block at your lunch break. This way, you are exercising,
fighting boredom, and do not have to sweat in the gym for hours
afterwards. This random 7-10 minutes activities will roll at the end
of the day into a full gym session!
9. Use "I will show them all" technique (sparingly). Think about the
mean people who teased you, the girl who refused to go out with you, a
sneering sales person in the clothes shop, imagine them all, and "show
them" - run fast, kick high, and end being and feeling gorgeous!

*Firstly, you should not skip your breakfast, whatever the case may be. Because it is the vital meal of your whole day and the rate of metabolism slows down if you don’t have it. In addition to this, you will be so hungry at your lunchtime that you will end up eating more food than required. So make sure you have a proper and healthy breakfast before leaving your house.
*Secondly, don’t engross yourself in other things like, reading books or watching TV while eating your food. If you don’t concentrate in your food, you will take more than necessary which is not good for your health as well as your weight. You must enjoy your food with your friends or your family but keep an eye on your food too.
*Thirdly, you should chew your food at least 35 times before eating, because the researchers have found out that you will consume fewer calories if you chew for longer time. Moreover, it helps you to digest your food faster as well as restrict the size of your portion and thus you can lose your weight.
*Fruits are just incomparable in losing your weight. They help to detoxify your body if you take them in empty stomach. Moreover, they will give you a huge amount of energy to exercise. It is believed that eating fruits about 30 minutes before any full meal helps in digesting the food quickly.
*Drink water as much as you can as it is very important for a healthy body and it creases the metabolic rate. But you must avoid drinking water in between your meals, since the liquid decreases the rate of digestion. It is advised to have water at least 15 minutes before or after your meal.
*Losing weight can be a difficult process for nearly everyone, so it’s not uncommon that people will ask: how can I lose weight and how can I lose it quickly? Some people are more blessed than others when it comes to their metabolism. A faster metabolism does make losing weight easier, but that’s not to say that someone with a slow metabolism can’t lose weight. In fact, someone with a slow metabolism can lose those extra pounds, and provided that they follow the tips that we suggest, they can lose those pounds quickly. So stop using your sluggish metabolism as an excuse, a barrier between you and your goals.
There are a few rules to follow to ensure that you will lose weight quickly. If you only choose to follow one of these rules, your success will be limited. On the other hand, if you follow all of these rules, you will lose weight rapidly, and just as importantly, you will keep the weight off.
Losing Weight Rule #1
Stay well hydrated. Hydration is one of the most important parts of losing weight and being healthier overall. Drinking lots of water ensures that your stomach is full, and it tricks your body into thinking that you are not hungry. It is important to hydrate primarily with water for a number of reasons. Water is natural and inexpensive, and it is calorie free
Losing Weight Rule #2
Exercise! Exercising is a fun and effective way of losing weight. If you are having trouble losing weight, or if you are losing weight, but not quickly, try adding in exercise. You will be sure to notice a difference if you add exercise to your healthy lifestyle. Not only does it help with weight loss, it also improves cardiovascular health greatly.Rule #1 comes into play here, too; staying hydrated is important if you are exercising because your workouts will suffer if you do not properly hydrate before, during, and after the workout. Staying hydrated allows you to perform at the highest level possible, ensuring that you burn the maximum amount of calories during your workout. Did you know that a 30-minute run can burn up to 500 calories?
Losing Weight Rule #3
Have a diet plan. You can do all the exercise in the world, but if you aren’t eating properly, and eating proper-sized portions, you won’t achieve any success. Weight loss ultimately comes down to calories in vs. calories out; that is, the number of calories that you consume (take in) must be less than the number of calories that you burn (put out) in order for weight loss to occur. Keep a food diary so that you understand what you are eating. Buy a food scale that gives you an accurate estimate of portion sizes. Choose a diet plan that gives you a good mix of proteins and complex carbohydrates. Avoid empty calories.
So, with those rules and tips, you have everything you need to lose weight fast. Losing weight can be difficult, but it is far from impossible, especially with this knowledge. No matter what weight you have been all your life, you can lose weight, and you will lose weight provided that you follow these steps. So if you’ve made it this far, then congratulations; you’ve taken the first step towards losing weight fast.
Not everyone has a speedy metabolism. It’s like being born with perfect pitch or an ability to draw. But everyone can lose weight and keep it off. It just takes discipline and desire. Good luck.
Well if you don't like exercising or healthy foods (?) it's gonna be pretty hard, but anyway here are some 'tips' :
If you're not too keen on fruits, here's what you can do; cut them up into small cubes (easiest with strawberries, pineapple, apple, grapes, etc) , then coat them in a very thin layer of icing sugar. My friend does that, hahahaa.
With exercising, listen to your favorite music, it makes it more enjoyable.
Don't eat too much meat, stick more to vegetables.
Hope I helped a bit, and Good luck :)
Eat like you normally would.
Just cut out soda, powdered drinks, unnaturally coloured drinks, and drink more water. Stop eating fried stuff. Stop with the chip bag, put it down. If you're hungry, 70% chance that you're just thirsty.
Eat fives times a day-- slowly enough so your stomach will know you're full first instead of your brain. Chocolate is okay! (Dark chocolate is better, though.) Coffee candy is okay!
Get a jump rope, and run as you jump. Jump whenever you can, even without a rope. (Jumping does alot.) Don't cross your legs.
it would help if i knew your gender, but i'm gonna assume female. what you need to do is cardio. the best are things that get your heart rate up. such as running or riding a bike. if you don't wanna go outside you can also try something like jump roping. if you get a weighted jump rope and do about 200 jumps a day you can tone and lose weight at the same time.
On a fast-food stop, say no to a medium order of fries (385 calories) and order a small one (250 calories).
