I was wondering if it is okay to take Hydroxycut or something else like that to achieve weight loss. I am somewhat dieting(i like to cheat ever so often) and I do work out. I've heard my friend use it and he says he feels completely fine as long as he drinks water. Of course, I've read some not so great reviews.
I just want an extra boost to speed up the process of losing weight.. I am 17 years old.

From my OWN experience I can tell u this;
first & foremost you should consult your physician, (and thats with any diet or meds u may be taking or wanting to)
You should drink plenty of water either way.
Then you should go to a GNC or any health/nutrition store near u and tell them what your goal weight is, what would be the best "supplements" for your individual diet & healthy life style?
Ask as many & all the questions you need, for this will help you to achieve your desired goal.
Also, u might want to add if you have certain cravings? what they are? and when they arise?
This will give the sales-person a better idea of the best supplements to give to you for your body & health type.
Keep in mind there is NO fast or easy way to do this, BUT, it does help with the supplements write for you, a good healthy lifestyle, no-stress, self-contol & motivation, & good eating habbits with the proper excecise program that suits your own needs.
YES-it does work, if taken with the above mentioned.
With all this said, I promise u that you shall achieve your goal!

** You should try drinking 8 to 16 ounces of water before each meal, this will fill you up and you will eat less, resulting in less calories at every meal. Weight loss pills are not very safe, at least water is safe. I know it may be hard at first to drink water, but you can add more and more everyday until it becomes easier, ( you will get used to it. I lost 50 pounds in three years and kept them off , I also walk for 30 minutes at least 5 times a week. Patience is needed,, if you want quick, this is not it, better to lose slowly than too fast (not healthy for your body) Also I think younger people lose weight quicker. OK.. I think none of the supplements work well without exercise... and definitely none of them work unless you are careful about what you eat.
I use Vitamin B supplements to try to induce a little metabolism.
And I use Acetyl L-Carnitine - in powdered form, 20 minutes before strenuous exercise.
Exercise every day.. cardio for about 45 minutes for weight loss.. early in the morning so you burn all day.
Do weights (you are old enough) to build some muscle as this muscle burns calories quickly.. 4 times a week.. do squats, lunges, deadlifts, upright rows, bench press... things that use large msuscle groups so that you burn more calories.
You need not worry about your weight.. you will need new t-shirts to fit those guns in there... and smaller waisted jeans for that tight gut you will have in around 6 months time. Buy a tape measure to check your progress.

Speeding up weight loss can only be done exercise and dieting. Water therapy is also a part of it. I read some pages from the following website that has many tips on diet and fitness. Please try.

I am happy to say I have lost 60 lbs with Meridia. As for the debate on whether it is safe falls on your doctor. Obviously if you have heart conditions already you should not take this product. Your doctor should know if your able to take this medication. I am no longer on Meridia and haven't gained any weight back either. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I feel so much healthier now.
