Question: PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO! I go without sleep for 3 DAYS then I sleep for about 2 hours and it's not good sleep either. I have school some of my grades are dropping I am so tired. I am 13 years old. I take two melatonin a night with a cup of herbal tea..it's called sleepy time from celestial herbal teas or whatever, and I take a hot shower. It helps a little. I sleep 6 hours a night but it's not good sleep I sleep so lightly my mom creaks the door to see if i'm asleep and I cant sleep for a couple of more hours! PLEASE HELP THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE! I'M CRYING BECAUSE I CANT SLEEP IT SUCKS SO BAD! PLEASE HELP ME! Me and my mother went to my doctor and they say it's my hormones. I get so HYPER at night and I cant control myself. My periods are so whacked up it's crazy. My doctor and my parents are scared for me because of this! HELP!!!!! SLEEPING METHODS?

Becky try drinking a cup of warm to hot cup of milk with some cocoa in it, milk has the natural amino acid called tryptophan, it will make drowsy, another is Valerian root for insomnia and menstrual discomfort. are you depressed or worried over something? are you having Ruminating thoughts (constant worrying) see if you can get prescribed to you a drug called "Ambien" by a psychiatrist. no caffeine for you!! one last thing that might help is a small personal fan that you can leave on and listen too while you go to sleep.

You're starving yourself, and it wont make you thin. It'll slow down your metabolism, until you can't eat more than 600 cals without ballooning in weight like crazy. Never eat less than 1200 cals a day. And use caloriecount.com, it's amazing! I lost 16 pounds in 2 months doing this: -Eating 5 small meals a day, around 1200 calories (but you dont have to go as low.) -Eating fruits&veggies and every meal, and a fist size portion of something else occasionally. -Breakfast was a whole grain (oatmeal or toast) with fruit. Lunch& dinner were big salads with protein like beans& chicken. Snacks were always fruit& veggies. -I gave up all sugar, even the small amount in things like ketchup, barbeque sauce, and cereal. And I got to size 0. But you have to follow it! Cheat days were Sundays, but still no sugar(: Oh, and don't feel disgusted. Seriously, I've eaten over 4500 calories in a day. Self esteem is still intact, jeans still size 4. Why punish yourself by eating 900 calories a day, that's starving refugee territory!

basically, you should not eat less than 1200 calories a day. When you eat less than that, your body goes into "starvation mode" meaning that it does not know the next time it will receive food. In response, every piece of food that you eat will be stored as fat. A suggestion is to eat 6 small meals a day to keep your metabolism high, and make sure that you are eating at least 1200 calories. Also, regarding the exercise, When your body does not have enough calories to burn, it will start burning protein, which is extremely unhealthy. Dieting is not about simply eating as little calories as possible to survive, it is about finding a balance that you can maintain for the rest of your life.

For example, let's say you normally wake up at 7 a.m. on weekdays to get to work, so you get to bed around 11 p.m. because that's when you start to feel sleepy (and it's also a good time to ensure 8 hours of sleep). If, on the weekend, you sleep in until 9 a.m., you probably won't be able to fall asleep that night until 1 a.m. again. In other words, your body thrives on running on a routine; erratic sleeping sessions will interfere with your internal "biological clock". For some people, and depending on work and routine, a very short rest in the afternoon (the Spanish call it the siesta) could help alleviate drowsiness some people experience during the day. But make sure not to oversleep.

Hahah identical right here however I get to sleep until 6 Uhmm I'm looking television and gonna be ****** tires the following day xD. Well some thing Good good fortune ^-^. (I'm prob gonna keep up until three:30 or four now not worn out in any respect )

You probably have taken your calories too low and not enough variety in what you are eating. Oatmeal is fine for breakfast along with some fruit. Yogurt and carrots are good snacks or side dish, but not a full meal. Eat lots more veggies and some protein. You will get used to eating less, but it can take a few weeks. The first month of changing your diet is the hardest.
