Question: I am about 175 and I have lost about 10 pounds but my stomach does not seem to be going down.Can someone tell me what I can do to lose belly fat?

Check out Nowlossdotcom. It's great. I've been using it and have been losing weight-- Take what he says about diets with a grain of salt, though. I've been eating a lot of veggies and only a little lean protein (beans and chicken mostly) and even less carbs. He's got some great workout videos on there though. Just remember everybody's body is different. I've lost about 20 lbs in six weeks doing all this, which is pretty good.

You can't make your body lose weight in specific areas, you just have to lose weight in general. The best way is to cut out sugar and junk food. Make sure you don't eat empty carbs (white flour), and do a lot of cardio mixed with weight training. Since you want to do it at home, I would go running, or jump rope. Do situps and push ups and lunges as well.

I was in a similar predicament up until a year ago. Back then I weighed 175 and I'm a 5'10" male. Within six weeks I got down to 160 and lost 3.5" around my waist. I did it without exercise or dieting or surgery. In the year since I've maintained this weight and waist loss. Magic? Not really. So many answers... dude you're very young. Don't say that "I am a student so I don't get time for anything". You have all the time. Eat whatever you want to. Just go outside in evening and play some outdoor games. Specially Football, Badminton, Cricket etc etc. Play as much as you can. Play football daily for an hour or two and you'll see the changes.

unfortunately you have to just lose weight in general and keep losing until your stomach is where you want it to be. you cant focus weight loss on a specific body part it just comes off from all over. ive lost 107 pounds and even though my stomach has gone down drastically, its still huge and folds over my pants. So I intend to keep losing weight another 50 to possibly 63 pounds till I get to a weight I know my stomach will be gone, which is also my ideal body weight for my height- 103.

if you do a muscle building exercise like sit-ups or press ups then your body will burn more fat just by doing the same things as usual, you could do the two hundred sit up challenge thing http://www.twohundredsitups.com/index.html (on that site there are links to press up and squat challenges) then once you've built up some muscle then fat will be easier to get rid of.

You're very pretty! How rude of those people to say otherwise, especially your family. First and foremost please know that you don't ever need to compare yourself to others, not even family members. If you want to lose some weight then do abdominal and core exercises, anything as simple as situps and pushups (try 10 of each the first day, 20 the next, and work your way up to doing 50 of each per day). Also, to tone your body try cardio workouts, you can get these on DVD or take a class. It's really simple if you think about it, the key is commitment. Motivate yourself to exercise every day and you will be healthy and happy!
