The fiber supplements can actually be contributing to the loose stools.
You need to load up on high fiber foods.
Eat a high fiber breakfast cereal with 20% or more of RDA of fiber.
Fruits, vegetables, whole grain bread, almonds, dried fruit, and popcorn are all tasty sources of fiber.
Work up to at least 1/2 cup of beans per day. Switch them around if you can, hot or in salads are great. Beans are loaded with soluble fiber. You wil be gassy at first but it will taper off as your colon builds up the good bacteria it needs to digest the added fiber. This apples to most fiber foods.
