Okay guys, I am going to Florida on February 25-March 2. I am going to Walt Disney World and I need to shed some pounds. I need to feel comfortable in my own body. I am 13 and weigh around 170 lbs. I don't feel good about it. I would like to try to get around 160. any suggestions for the quickest way to lose weight?

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

201 may be on the overweight side, depending on your height. The only way to truely tell if you are overweight is by calculating your BMI, or Body Mass Index.
First, visit http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/bmi-cal... to calculate your BMI and determine if you need to lose weight.
The FASTEST way to lose weight is honestly by doing a detox diet program. With detox diets, you are not allowed to eat anything, but you have to drink a TON of a special concoction (usually plain water mixed with weird stuff, like chilli powder or maple syrup...yeah it's really gross.) The benefit of this is that you will lose a lot of weight in a short period of time without excerise. HOWEVER, the major drawback is that the weight that you lose is going to be mainly water weight, and maybe even muscle mass (which is very dangerous to lose because it will slow down your metabolism, meaning you don't burn as many calories as you used to.) And, you will more than likely gain all the weight back and more once you complete the program.
I do NOT reccomend a crash diet like this. However, you will read that some detox programs can help you "cleanse your body of toxins", there are really no scientific facts that back that theory up. Keep that in mind.
However, I will reccomend diets such as The Fat Smash diet, which was used on Celebrity Fit Club on VH1. You can check out the book at your local library. It's a program that is set over 90 days, and incorporates ways to overhaul your eating habits, add in excerise to your daily life, and change your life completly. I would also reccomend the ABS Diet For Women, which you can also check out at your local library. This diet is also a lifestyle change, but I would not reccomend this if you are completly unfarmiliar with nutrition, because it might not make sense if you don't understand the importance of protiens, fiber, fatty acids etc.
Bottom Line - losing weight effectively takes time. There is no way to drop 30 pounds a month and be able to keep it off. However, if you check out The Fat Smash Diet and like what it has say ( I think you will) the program will overhaul your life in 3 months if you stick to it. You can expect to lose about 30 pounds in THREE months (which is an AWESOME realistic goal - however it depends on your size).

Nowadays you see all those weightloss programs like Weightwatchers coming out and saying that you can eat pizza hamburgers lasagna etc on the diets and still lose weight. And that is completely true. What you eat matters, but how much you eat is even more important.
You first need to find your basal metabolic rate.This is the number of calories your body uses per day to perform its basic, everyday, life sustaining functions such as maintaining liver and kidney function, keeping the heart beating, breathing, etc. Thats what you need to just stay alive. For me that's about 2000. I absolutely need that or I will feel weak and tired and eventually go into starvation mode b4 dying. Then if I'm Sedentary all day, like a desk job,go home ,sleep, I'll multiply my bmr times 1.2 (2000 * 1.2) If I'm lightly active (light exercise after work 1-3 times a week), then I multiply by 1.3. My number is about 1.3. So the amount of calories I need a day just to stay the same weight is 2600.(2000* 1.3).
There's 3500 calories in one pound of fat. There's 7 days in a week. So to lose one pound of fat in a week, you need to create a deficit of 500 calories a day in your body. So if I eat 2100 calories a day, for one week, I will lose one pound of fat.
I've always been a 'why' guy. I need to have a scientific explanation of why something works. And when I began to have weight problems I decided to check out the Internet. OMG. There are literally millions of different ways, means, websites, exercises, pills, teas, books, meditations, Techniques. I even saw a weightloss bubblegum. There's is one commonality in all of them though. And that is the caloric deficit, bmr, and exercise theory. And websites like calorieking.com make it easy. You can find how many calories is in a slice of pizza from pizza hut, dominoes, in a cut of bacon, a happy meal, anything! And I lost weight the healthy way.

Spray on "pan spray" (like Pam) for cooking
"Molly McButter" or butter flavored powder whenevver you use butter while dieting.
GET THE WHOLE FAMILY TO TRY IT....and you'll be amazed what the "partners in dieting" can do to re-inforce these new eating habits.

eating liquid based foods such as natural smoothies and low sodium soup can help you cut back on calories yet feel full

Im a former bulimic (ya i know) but im recovered now and very healthy
Here's sum simple tips besides the obvious of exercises and eating healthy
I used to eat from paper plates to absorbs any extra oils or fats
eat plenty of chili as it increases your metabolism
Give yourself treats as rewards eg a facial
water before meals to fill you
drink iced water as ur body uses Cal's to warm it up
eating celery burns more cals, dan whats in d actual celery stick
and eat from a small plate, wit a small spoon, and put in down between mouthfuls, and not infront of the tv, tricks your mind you've eaten loads
