Question: So for the past week I have been limiting my calories to 1200 and not eating past like 7:30-8, in an attempt to lose weight.I have been staying the same weight all week. Last night, I was out with friends and ate a whole bag of goldfish at like one in the morning, plus some gummi worms and a few oreos. When i woke up the next morning, it said I lost two pounds!! This has happened more than once. I will be really good about eating and barely lose any weight but then the one night I blow it, I will weigh less in the morning. Does anyone know what is causing this?

your weight fluctuates around two pounds every day. you can have a slightly different weight at different parts of the day. you lose weight while you're sleeping, then gain it back when you eat the next day.

Just try and think about something else, just try and sleep. With sleep you will be able to forget about your cravings and will be able to keep going till the morning. But if you really feel the need to snack at night try eating something healthy like a banana or something

Actually, it does. Late night snacks are a problem only when you plan to head to bed immediately after eating. If you eat, say, a peanut butter sandwich at 11 p.m. and go to bed at 2 p.m., your metabolism will be operating normally and you should be just fine with your diet.
