Question: I get random knee pains for long periods of time, and I get from walking around, lifting stuff or even when I'm sitting, I think the pain also starts when my knee is cold, does anyone know or have a rough idea of what the cause is of this?

Tendonitis possibly. get some neoprene knee wraps and take some aleve no more than 3 times a week and you should be fine. Also some vitamins like Move Free by Schiff because you need Glucosamine, MSM and Chondrotin to build up the joints and tendons to support your weight. I'm not saying your overweight but if you are that would help to lose some weight. Good luck.

She could be starting with arthritis, and there are many ligaments in the knee that could be strained as well. The knee is quite complicated, and it is difficult to know exactly what is going on without a complete exam which may involve getting x-rays taken. Or, it could be something as "simple" as a tibial or fibular subluxation, and these things can easily be corrected by a chiropractor. I often give my patients who suffer from knee pain traction-type exercises and supplementation with glucosamine sulfate & Vitamin C. These things work wonders.

hey, i don't know anything about being a doctor but my mom is around 40 and she gets knee pains almost all the time. The reason is because of this #1 cause, arthritis. So your friend might have arthritis. I suggest she sees a doctor like my mom did to find out the real reason. Hope that helps and prayers are in your friend for strength and healing.

Treadmill is the challenge, I've had an harm and on the second most effective do quick bursts at the TM since I'm scared if I pass walking I'll get two miles down the avenue and get discomfort and have got to run again making it worse, so the treadmill I can simply soar off, however I have spotted if it isn't the proper velocity, truthfully too sluggish that commonly I get a bit discomfort within the knees, I suppose it is the treadmill no longer the walking, take a look at going to a discipline and walking a few laps to examine, so that it will inform you whether or not it is the floor or no longer, do not pass if in case you have discomfort already although. I hate treadmills and suppose they consider so un normal and are fully dull to run on, take a look at grass to begin with:) well success.

A lot of times we can have a pinched muscle in our back and that can be putting pressure on the nerves leaving the spine and going to your stomach which then could result in it being a problem for your. Here is how to release that so it either releases the pain or it eliminates it as a possibility: Back: Place your left hand on your left knee. Place your right hand over your left shoulder and with your fingertips find the muscle next to your spine. Press on it and hold. Relax, take a deep breath and exhale and don’t tense up any part of your body. After about 30 seconds there should be a release happening and when it does slowly lower yourself forward onto your right leg. If you can lean over the outside edge of your leg it will be better for your release. Continue holding for a total of one minute. Then release but rest your body there for one minute longer. Then reverse and do the right side
