Question: I read on a couple sites that some women could "rid their body of hpv" with exercise and a very healthy diet because it builds the immune system.

It is not known if the virus leaves the skin tissue it enter...or if due to the innate immunity it just stays at low levels and does not reproduce. It is the innate immune system that keeps the virus at bay. Healthy lifestyles do help...but there is no guarantee that we will never share our infection with a new sex partner. A new sex partner can share a new HPV type with us. Our body utilizes nutrients better from the healthy foods we eat. Exercise and good sleep strengths the immune system. Limiting alcohol and reducing stress gives our mind and body strengths. Condoms help with in a committed relationship for a few months and condoms always in a new relationship. It is unclear how many HPV-infected women who become HPV DNA negative actually have complete viral clearance and how many continue to harbor the viral genome in the basal cells of the squamous epithelium, but at such a low copy number that they cannot be detected using standard molecular tests. Such undetectable, low-level infections are usually referred to as “latent infections” and are similar to the latent infections that are seen with herpes simplex virus and varicella zoster. Building immunity to our acquired HPV types is common most men and women do. Keeping that immunity forever is not guaranteed us. Routine Pap tests monitor our cervix until at least age 65. Allowing our doctor to see cell changes when they occur, monitor these cell changes and if or when they become more severe, recommend a treatment that will remove the abnormal cell changes preventing most all cervical cancers. The virus is common. It is not common for the virus to progress…but it can. In countries that utilize routine Pap test cervical cancer is rare…in countries that don’t death and problems due to the complications that the virus can cause are much higher. ’We are much less contagious maybe not contagious at all when the virus is no longer causing abnormal cell changes of the cervix or visible genital warts. Researchers have told us that the virus can in some re-occur years after the initial infection was acquired with no new sex partners. It is unclear how many HPV-infected women who become HPV DNA negative actually have complete viral clearance and how many continue to harbor the viral genome in the basal cells of the squamous epithelium, but at such a low copy number that they cannot be detected using standard molecular tests. Such undetectable, low-level infections are usually referred to as “latent infections” and are similar to the latent infections that are seen with herpes simplex virus and varicella zoster many women who spontaneously clear one specific type of HPV become infected with another HPV type. This is part of the reason that infection with multiple types of HPV is quite common in sexually active adolescents and young women. http://www.jfponline.com/Pages.asp?AID=7... the virus can move from latency to "expressed" HPV disease such as warts or cervical cell changes, it is not possible to guarantee that the individual will remain non-contagious indefinitely. Consistent condom use has been shown to reduce the risk of transmitting HPV by about 70%. The possibility of latency also means that clinicians cannot define who has cleared all virus, and women with latent infection may develop subclinical or clinical HPV infections as they age -- without contracting HPV from a new partner. The inability to be 100% sure that an individual with a history of an HPV infection is no longer contagious should encourage honesty whenever a new relationship begins. This should be balanced with the fact that most people are exposed to this virus during their life, and that, for most, this virus does not usually cause great harm http://www.asccp.org/PracticeManagement/...

** You should try drinking 8 to 16 ounces of water before each meal, this will fill you up and you will eat less, resulting in less calories at every meal. Weight loss pills are not very safe, at least water is safe. I know it may be hard at first to drink water, but you can add more and more everyday until it becomes easier, ( you will get used to it. I lost 50 pounds in three years and kept them off , I also walk for 30 minutes at least 5 times a week. Patience is needed,, if you want quick, this is not it, better to lose slowly than too fast (not healthy for your body) Also I think younger people lose weight quicker. Well good luck too you, hope this helps

i think u should follow the given tips: Tips: (get a pen & paper out :]) 1. mc donalds (fast food)= uh huh that's a no-no now 2. 30 mins a week working out..walking a little bit every now and then won't hurt. 3. smaller portions 4. but more small meals during the day (you want a higher metabolism) 5. stay active!!! :) 6. be conscious of how many sugars you eat (most things have nutrition labels...check it out out once in awhile) 7. SATURATED FATS=EVIL...don't eat them at all...they make out poof out. 8. don't go anorexic or bulemic...stupidest mistake. 9. salads..really aren't that healthy for you..they have about 2% nutrition...that's not a lot. 10. supplements...eh they're better than a salad...lol 11. sleep :D it's good for you (i'm a huge hypocrite on this one) I hope this helps =D

It is not possible to rid your body of the virus simply by eating healthy foods. However, boosting your immune system IS the best thing you can do to enhance the likelihood that you will clear the virus.

Do sit ups to work on the abs. Lately I have been working on losing my summer flab and all I did was make sure I eat at least 3 or 4 servings of veggies and fruits a day. Stay away from high sugar fruits like bananas and go for apples and berries or melon. It helps fill you up faster so you dont want to eat so much fatty stuff and is refreshing and stops munchies. Also you could switch to whole milk- even though it has more fat the sugars in 1 or 2% are ridiculous and are actually worse for you than whole milk. I have already lost about 4 lbs. doing this in the last 2 weeks. Smaller portions also helps.
