Question: I used to have an eating disorder and would only drink one glass of water a day; however I have been trying to become more healthy and stopped starving myself so along with that I have been drinking about 8 cups a day. Ever since I started doing this (which has been a couple days) i have noticed that I lost some weight perhaps and some of the cellulite I previously had appeared better...does drinking lots of water do this? or am i just seeing things. Your help is much appreciated (:

Actually, just drinking any kind of water will significantly help with weight loss. Water helps to improve liver function. Your liver helps you metabolize and burn fat easily. But when you are dehydrated, your kidneys will have trouble functioning, and your liver will have to pick up the slack. Now, let's think about this for a minute... If you were your liver, would you be more concerned with burning fat, or helping out your ailing kidneys? That's what I thought! And that's exactly what your liver does. So, if you want to start your body's natural fat-burning process, make sure you stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water is CRUCIAL to losing weight if you want to speed up the process. With a healthy diet AND exercise, drinking water will help A LOT. Hope this helped

Water has nothing to do with it, water diets honestly don't work, they're so unreliable, and just when you think you've lost enough weight it all changes because your drinking patterns are irregular. Forget all about all the things you've heard, cheating to lose weight is not the answer. I'm afraid you're gonna have to lose it the good old fashioned way, burn it off! Don't go crazy on the water, too much will make you sick, there's like some condition you get when you drink too much. But remember that 2 litres a day will really help, water is just like any other thing, too much or too little isn't good, you need just the right amount. Good Luck!

Yes, drinking water does help you loose weight, I heard it was a fat burner, It helps you keep your cells hydrated, not only will it help you loose weight but it will also: Moisten your body Helps your Kideny Prevent constipation Regulate body temperature. Get rid of toxins in the Body. Protects organs tissues. Don't drink Fizzy drinks as they turn into sugar. And don't starve yourself, this is bad because it makes your body goes into survival mode, so anything that you eat will turn into fat. You should drink at least 64 ounces of water per day = 8 glasses Good luck

Drinking water ( not less than 1 liter a day ) is compulsory for your health and a better health lets always appear more beautiful. Cellulite is a serious disease but the word " cellulite " is often used to describe a physical who is not perfect. Speak with your MD ! Good luck.

Unless you are on a bodybuilding program to build mass I would stay away from the protein drinks. Your body continually breaks down and re-uses the available protein. Building mass will require more dietary protein. Any extra protein will eventually be stored as fat and all your efforts will be wasted. Stick to primarily cardio execise unless you are going to be a hard core bodybuilder. Save the money you spend on protein and get a good pair of running shoes and hit the road.
