Question: Okay so all the foods my mom and I cook are usually spicy and I get a tummy ache out of them (I know that the reason I have a tummy ache is because my stomach's PH balance is at a high from the spicyness) but in the long run, will I get a stomach disease or something, or something like an ulcer? ORRR is it actually healthy for you? I know that some spices have alot of health benifits.. what do you know about this?

Unless you are pre-disposed to ulcers, or if you already have ulcers, you shouldn't expect any new ulcers from eating a healthy diet that's spiced up. There are no known diseases caused from eating spicy foods.

Tell him it is unhealthy for him and you dont want nothing bad to happen 2 him! hell probably say "its fine" give him a reality check and tell him 5 y ears from now he could have diabetes and fighting with death.... invite him to eat with you and serve delicious healthy food make him feel good about wating healthier that should do the trick!

Are you sure it is the spices? If so, explain to your mom that you have problems digesting it. Yes, it can cause health problems. Acid eats away at your throat.

I can't recall when it started tasting good as I have done it for so long now. I can tell you that experimenting with spices is the way to go. Garlic and ginger are two of my favorites.
