Stretch mark reduction and weight loss; FAST?
Topic: Stretch mark reduction and weight loss; FAST?
June 16, 2019 / By Colleen Question:
Issue: I'm 5'8", 185 pounds, female. But I do have muscle, so that's a lot of my weight. I do not look 180 though, I look about 130-150. Thing is, I really would rather actually be 150. I'm quite young and was always very tall, grew real fast and my weight couldn't keep up, so I got stretch marks. I'm going on a cruise, Royal Caribbean Oasis of the Sea in 3 weeks. And I want those stretch marks GONE, or at least less visible. Cocoa butter is just an old wives tale, that doesn't work, and I'm allergic. As for my weight, my Dad says I can loose 10 pounds in 3 weeks, and I know that. But can I loose like 20 pounds in 3 weeks?
Routine Deal: I eat a turkey sandwich or a granola bar for breakfast because I do not like pancakes, bacon, cereal, etc. For lunch, I eat just whatever is decently healthy around. Dinner, I eat either some sorta meat or again what is decently healthy around the house. With at least two, I eat something green and twice a week I eat a salad. During all those meals, I either have a Capri Sun, Water or Milk. I have PE every day, and I ride my bike or walk for a mile every day.
Issues: What am I doing wrong? I really need to lose the extra weight. I'm most concerned on my upper stomach and thighs especially. How do I work this chub off and get rid of the marks? Any special, not real expensive creams or lotions? I have no time for laser treatment. Also, just to throw in, do you think I'm too big to wear a bikini? Keep in mind I don't look 180. What's the "requirements" to wear a bikini and look good. Thanks for any help!

Take charge of your food environment
Your weight loss efforts will succeed or fail based largely on your food environment. Set yourself up for success by taking charge of your food environment: when you eat, how much you eat, and what foods are available.
Start the day with breakfast. People who eat breakfast tend to be thinner than those who don't. Starting your day with a healthy breakfast will jumpstart your metabolism, plus, it will help keep you from binging later in the day.
Serve yourself smaller portions. One easy way to control portion size is by using small plates, bowls, and cups. This will make your portions appear larger. Don't eat out of large bowls or directly from the food container or package, which makes it difficult to assess how much you've eaten.
Plan your meals and snacks ahead of time. You will be more inclined to eat in moderation if you have thought out healthy meals and snacks in advance. You can buy or create your own small portion snacks in plastic bags or containers. Eating on a schedule will also help you avoid eating when you aren't truly hungry.
Cook your own meals. Cooking meals at home allows you to control both portion size and what goes in to the food. Restaurant and packaged foods generally contain a lot more sodium, fat, and calories than food cooked at home - plus the portions sizes tend to be larger.
Don't shop for groceries when you're hungry. Create a shopping list and stick to it. Be especially careful to avoid foods at the ends of the aisles and along the perimeter, where grocers tend to sell high-calorie snack and convenience foods.
Out of sight, out of mind. Limit the amount of tempting foods you have at home. If you share a kitchen with non-dieters, store snack foods and other high-calorie indulgences in cabinets or drawers out of your sight.

Hello Dear Friend
One of the greatest dreams of women who just gave birth is to go back to their pre-pregnant weight and figure. However, weight gain as well as weight loss may result with many unsightly stretch marks on the belly, underarms or on legs. These are common and it can appear after weight loss or pregnancy. When excessive stretching happens on a part of the skin, it breaks and loses its elastin and collagen. Thus, the ugly lines known as stretch marks appear.
Stretch marks are dead and no cream will regenerate them. Stretched and broken skin cells are stuck in the first layer of the skin and show up as stripes. Only thing you can do is scrub those dead cells off through skin abrasion. It's really expensive to these treatments professionally but I found way to do it at home cheaply by using what I already have and same hard abrasive crystals pros would use.
I used regular Cetaphil body lotion to mix with medical crystals, then I scrubbed stretch marks in the shower with this paste.I felt the difference under fingers 1st time I scrubbed my belly but now after 1 month they are almost invisible. Just google medical crystals.

Have you been doing this regularly? The exercise and diet? It takes a while. If you want to have a thorough treatment for a short period of time. Try getting some medication that helps loose weight, liposuction, and for your stretch marks, try laser treatment.
But for me, regular exercise for "months" and dietary program for months/years is one good way. The only thing that tempts someone is the anxiety of it all. Patience is a virtue so they say. You reap what you planted.

There is hope always when you practice a lot of exercise that include working out the muscles of your legs a lot. Lifting weight does not make a difference unless it is in the apparatus for legs muscle building. A lot of walk, running, climbing upstairs, swimming. All activity can be improved with proper running shoes and always rub body lotion after shower in movements that resemble professional massage to make sure the ingredients reach deep layers of skin and you can profit from the hydration.

First off I think that you look great~ My advice is to do what ever you can to loose the weight normally before you alter your body through surgery. You are very young and should be able to drop more wait through diligence, exercises, and diet control. If more kids are in the future I would really not have surgery. Later, if you believe that breast reduction is necessary, wait until you are through with having babies and get it done.
Sounds like you picked a real winner. Too bad maybe that you have had any kids with him... don't let him treat your body like something that he can build or change. No boob jobs, no nose jobs, no piercings, no tattoo's. Marriage is supposed to be for the long haul and I sure hopes what he likes most about you is you... because no matter who you are, looks fade.
