Low Carb High Protein Diet? Plus Working out.?
Topic: Low Carb High Protein Diet? Plus Working out.?
October 14, 2019 / By Lisanne Question:
Hi, I already work out 6 days a week burning 500 calories through cardio and weight train.
I eat 1500 calories a day. Eat about 200g in carbs and take in about 100g of protein.
(I'm looking to tone up as I'm dropping fat)
Anyways. I'm thinking of going low carb high fats and protein for the next 6 weeks. 50g of carbs, probably less, & continue with my cardio and weight training. I know carbs are needed to help fuel a workout, so would I eat my carbs before going to the gym? Could I lose about 10-15 pounds doing this?

Fill up on green veggies, don't eat carbs before a work out, although your workout will not be as good, as you will be burning ketones from fat, and you will be boosting your human growth hormone, but the benefits to your body will be better.
I am fasting, (no food only water) 6 days now, but I am only losing 1 pound a day even though I am cycling hard, I haven't lost any muscle in fact I have gained muscle on my thighs.

high protein diet wont make u thin. eventually protein turns to fats if you do not work out. carbs turn to fats quicker than protein so it is advisable to consume food that are low in carbs. the best method to lose all the fats is to eat less in each meal. you can start off by having a toast in the morning with a glass of milk. then have chicken breast for lunch. hav a light dinner. if you're hungry between the meals. you can take some fruits. the best is banana. it gives you instant enery and high in fibre.
