Question: So over two years ago i either had extremely painful shits or impossible shits. i looked stuff up and here is what i have done to stop it, I drink more water warm and cold i walk\jog every day for 45 mins i ate more fiber it worked... barely i went to the doctor she gave me this powder stuff that tasted so bad i couldn't bare to finish and made me really sick, my mom told me to take a laxative oh hell those cramps i got hurt!!!! but i could finally sleep through the night comfy for the first time in a long time (sure missing that feeling) well every time nothing would work i would take one it's starting not to work should i take two? i really don't know what to do at this point i've tried all the home remedies that seemed sane to me i just want to be normal again but nothing seems to last for me at all i don't get it. when i first got constipated i was depressed and i really just sat around all day and really wasn't stressed out i really haven't been stressed out at all in my life. If it helps My Grandma had constipation a lot from what i heard my Aunt (her Daughter) has it badly too. I do take fiber supplements drink something warm in the mornings and easy fiber through out my day. If anyone can give me an answer that works i'd give you sooooo many points i promise no questions asked

First of all fix your sleeping time at night this should be 10PM to 5 or 6AM its really beneficial try it. Here are some Home Remedies: Ginger tea is a great home remedy for constipation. It helps in starting bowel movements. Exercise often a simple stroll in the park can relieve constipation. Guava when eaten with seeds provides roughage to diet can give relief from constipation. Add more fruits to the diet like pears, grapes, Orange juice & Papaya. Another natural remedy for constipation is to add some honey a glass of milk. Drink twice a day. Soak 6-8 raisins in hot water. When cool, crush well and strain. When given routinely even to little infants, it helps to regulate bowel movement. Eat 2 apples with peel on an empty stomach. Dissolve 1 tablespoons of honey in 1 cup of lukewarm water and drink on an empty stomach in the morning. Drink carrot juice. It is a very tasty remedy, especially for kids. Eat chopped fresh onion. It sucks to be 13 and have to get things we aren't used to getting in regard to our bodies. You have to get used to it. It only takes a second, and you usually can check out at the pharmacy where they are used to seeing this, and much worse. They won't think anything of it. A mild laxative is milk of magnesia, that 's probably best. Or if you want something natural get glycerin suppositories. eew I know, but it's better for you. peace

I'd say the best route is to first try eating more fruits and vegetables. Usually constipation is due to the lack of nutrient. It also wouldn't hurt to cut out some of the processed foods you eat. If that doesn't cure it then the next best step is bring the issue up with your parents. Best of luck!

Hi Results: In most patients, constipation is usually due to lack of dietary fiber and responds to simple measures to correct these factors, often without consulting a physician. In some, probably fewer than 10% of patients who consult their physicians, structural diseases of the colon and rectum, systemic disease, or medications that slow gut transit should be excluded, and regular exercise, dietary fiber, and an osmotic laxative prescribed. In a series of 277 highly selected patients from a tertiary referral center who had intractable constipation, only 29% had a definable abnormality; identification of abnormal transit facilitates selection of patients for further investigations identifying colonic inertia or pelvic floor dysfunction. Conclusion: An algorithmic approach can carefully select patients with intractable constipation for behavioral modification and biofeedback; the long-term outcome is excellent, with at least 75% success in several series. In a minority of patients with slow transit constipation unresponsive to medical treatment, subtotal colectomy with ileorectostomy is indicated and effective. Good luck ...

Constipation is often due to an unhealthy diet with insufficient fiber. Most people don't eat enough fiber. Macro cereal gentle fibre, oat bran, linseed, Psyllium seeds, wheat germ, wheat bran, Chia seeds and Psyllium husks are very high fiber foods and there is also a lot of fiber in fruit and vegetables. Both constipation and IBS as well as diarrhea can often be cured with liquid chlorophyll as in a web search for "liquid chlorophyll" + constipation + ibs. Other natural ways to relieve constipation are covered in a web search for "natural ways to relieve constipation".

It's unlikely that the disease "increased your immune system" in that way. However, it may have improved somewhat as you grew up anyway. Also, as you get exposed to more diseases over time, you do gain some immunity to them. It's likely that your immune system is just particularly good, and/or you're immune to most diseases circulating in your area. When you got sick in China, it may well be because the disease you were exposed to was something you'd never seen before, so you had no immunity to it.
