By the way - I am vegetarian.
And I go to the gym after work in the week.
I really want to start eating healthier and lose weight as all I eat at the moment is processed food and junk food.
But my parents do the shopping and always buy in biscuits and ice creams and fatty foods and junk food, and when I see them next to my vegetable soups I end up eating the fatty food.
I know that as soon as I have the money to move out I will not buy any fatty food, just healthy food.
But while Im living at home I find it really hard to switch from the junk food to the healthier food.

i live at home too and had the same problem as you but i dont anymore because i have learned how to control my eating im vegetarian also soo i eat alot of saladss veggies and fruits i dont eat any bread anymore i workout and stay actitive luckly my mom is on a diet right now and doesnt by hardly any junk food anymore
i would just say control yourself and keep in mind i wanna lose weight will eating the junk food help mee and exercise i have already lost 11 pounds in about a month and a half

One good way is to learn to cook and read food labels. Take over the family kitchen and cook for yourself and/or your family. It's a process so don't expect to change overnight. Start slipping in a piece of fruit each day. Junk food and pre-processed foods contain high amounts of nasty stuff like fat and salt and Red Dye #40 (whatever that is).
When you cook for yourself then you get to decide what really goes into your body. It also forces you to work for your food (cook) and to think about your food (meal planning) so there's no easy way out. As for school, pack your lunch the night before, leave your cash at home in the morning, and when you get to school you'll be forced to eat healthy food from home.

Start by realizing that food is not a weapon for us to use against ourselves when we feel down. What you need is an outlet for your anger. A physical activity that you enjoy so you get exercise and can release your emotions.
Maybe it's tennis or maybe it's swimming or maybe you can find someone to play frisbee with in the park. Anything to get you moving. If its something where you can thrash the heck out of something go for it. Like women's tennis where they yell and lob these incredible shots across a net at an opponent.
Finally, you need to think about the source of your anger and sadness and make changes. Think about your future and what you want to do. Set some goals. If your boyfriend isn't someone you can talk to anymore then maybe you should be on your own for awhile. Find a hobby to be passionate about and find out what you're made of. I bet you're capable of some amazing ****.
I'm sorry you cry and hope you have a dog or cat at home. Animals are the best listeners.
The key for losing weight is easy - eat less food and move more - the difficulties appear when we in reality try to put that into operation! There are a lot of temptations in the real world don't you think?! You know where you're going wrong, now you just need the willpower to stop on the junk.
Maybe a food diary?
Maybe you're not getting full up enough in your meals... try to get lots of fibre and protein food (veg soup won't fill you up for long for example).. if you're not getting "satisfied" from your meals you'll end up snacking.
After you stop with the rubbish snacks for a while you will get used to it.

I suggest you checkout allrecipes, it's the only place I ever go in search of recipes, well aside from my mother and grandmother's kitchens.
Most of the recipes I can think of that we use in my own home that are stereotypically European or American contain meat, sorry about that. When I went vegetarian I lived off of stir-fries and tofu, and there's nothing American or European about that. Although if you can find taco spice and taco shells it's easy to substitute tofu for beef in tacos.
I've left a link for vegetarian recipes below, allrecipes has far better recipes when it comes to vegetarian than I do, I'd never even thought to write any of mine down.
