Question: I'm only 15 so I know there are some ways that wouldn't be safe for me. I'm 5"6' and 157 lbs. My ideal weight would be around 130. I play basketball, so usually every day for about an hour (sometimes 2 or 3) I'm really active but that doesn't seem to be enough. A big problem for me is that I can't eat red meats. So when I need a lot of protein, it has to all come from chicken & fish. I've heard of "nut diets"..? Well, I'm allergic to all nuts except hazelnuts & almonds. I try going to the gym whenever I can and I usually run a mile and lift weights on the machines. I think the biggest problem for me is food. I come from a huge Italian family so I'm around fatty foods 24/7. Please if you have any ideas, help.

I have lost 160 lbs in the past two years. It sounds like you only need to lose 30 to 40 lbs.
