Question: Hi, I'm trying to lose as much weight as I can before summer. I have hypothyroid disease which I do take medication for. I'm a teenager in high school so expensive, time consuming diets won't help me. I don't really eat all that bad of foods. I LOVE fruit more than anything, and I drink tons of water. As for exercise, I walk my german shepherd puppy about 3 or more miles everyday after school. What are some good, filling snacks that you would recommend for a school lunch? (I take my own lunch, no microwaves in the cafeteria) I would take any other advice anyone would be willing to give on weight loss. Thanks.

Weight maintenance is very important for you. Hypothyroidism is one of the major reason that you should always take precaution and taking medicine timely. Do regular physical workout and take some good diet. This will help you a lot. Walking and running both will give you major effects on your health.
