Question: Hi :-) I'm Naviee, 15 years old, 5ft 6in, 126lb, BMI = 20.8 Lately I've been exercising (50 sit ups, 20 squats, 50 star jumps, playing on the wii, random exercises etc). I sort of have a healthy diet.. I'm still trying to stay away from junk food and I've been eating a bit of fruit and watching my calorie intake.. So, I asked this question because based on the research I've done - instead of becoming skinner, I'll probably just stay the same size because exercising gains muscle - and to be honest I don't really 'want' muscle - I just want to be skinner (in a healthy way). And starving creates body fat.. and I don't want that. How am I supposed to become skinnier if all I'm doing is gaining muscle (by exercising)? I'm sort of slim for my age, but I just want to be a bit skinner - maybe 118lb. All I want to know is how to become 'skinnier', lose weight and tone up, instead of gaining muscle and weight. Thanks in advance for any answers I get. :-)

You can probably cut out most of that exercise. It will help with fat burn, but it will also build muscle. If you diet, just worry about three main things: Salt intake Fat intake Protein intake Low salt intake will help you lose water retention, and therefore weight. You may find yourself dehydrated though, so be careful! Obviously with less fat intake, your body wont be able to replace that fat it burns. And if you take protein supplements, it will increase your metabolism. Basically, just a watchful diet will do the trick. Avoid eating before bed and if you do exercise, I would suggest stopping once you've reduced your body fat that way the built up muscle will naturally break down.

Working out at the gym is best option! Don't go bulking so much that you become a bit fat just gain muscle (you can gain at most 2 lbs of muscle per month). I have used every diet known to man but nothing worked as good as acai berry. I understand they say that pills will not work, however they certainly worked for me, and they've been featured on the Rachael Ray Show too. I found the book to be very informative and easy to read. I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off. It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise. Get started today!

Maybe do cardiovascular exercises like running and cycling but don't spend too much time on each area of the body such as cycling or your leg muscles may get bigger! So maybe swimming, to lose it everywhere and mainly your stomach; Running for your whole body to sweat. Cycling for mainly your legs and a bit of your arms. Many more! :D
