Question: Basically I went through a bad time recently and gained about 2 stones in about 7 weeks through comfort eating. I am now feeling better and getting on top of things and have started to eat more reasonably and re-stared exercising. My question is, is it possible to lose the weight that I gained in the same amount of time, ie, could I lose 2 stones in 7 weeks? TIA

The weight loss process typically takes considerably longer than the weight gain process. Slow and steady wins the race. Develop a program and stick to it. Moderate calorie reduction coupled with moderate exercise will get the job done. Best of luck, Michele

"What's the fastest way to lose weight?" Stop eating. But this is also the deadliest way to lose weight. And it's a torturous, sickening way to die. The BEST way to lose weight is to go to a doctor or a professional dietician, work out a do-able weight-loss plan, then stick to it. And, of course, exercise.

i dont know what a "stone" is. but yeah if you try, it depends on how much weight that is. i gained almost 12 pounds in a month and i dont think i could lose it in a month, but we'll see!
