Question: okay so im going to mexico in 30 days =) im 5'7" and about 148 pounds. im not exactally happy with my body. so i was wondering how much weight i can lose in the time period. I will probably be eating healthy, drinking lots of water, and running on my eliptical trainer everyday -- how long should i do that for? Is there anything else i can do? BEST ANSWER, 10 POINTS ... HELP =) and thanks =) thanks katie so far your getting the points =) also, i dont want to use pills, or a diet plan. i just want to do it the healthiest way possible =)

A good rule of thumb is 2 pounds a week. Therefore your almonst only losing fat. Most people think there diet is amazing after losing 10 pounds in a week, but its very common. Due to the lack of carbs one can drop 5-10 pounds of water in the first week. If you exercise 30 minutes a day everyday you could lose about 8-10 pounds. If you havn't lost any weight after a week, cut 200-300 calories from your diet a day. No one can tell what reacts better to your body than you, so you be the judge of how much you eat. If you feel sluggish eat more carbs, but from healthy sources such as fruits, veggies, oatmeal, brown rice. Good LUCK!

fast food is salty food if you cut back on the salt in a few weeks youll be able to better taste the natural salts in food and may not crave the junk as much as you used to

okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess toxins in your blood or fat to lose weight ,,,,,do as follows: Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly) eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a food/rice steamer to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods, at first,,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink water . If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken. also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise. * you should lose about 10 lbs per month
