I'm much bigger than you, so i don't know if it'll have the same effect, but i used the Ministry of Sound Dance workouts (all of them are pretty intense) every day for about 3 weeks and managed to drop 2stone and toned up, felt healthier etc etc etc.
But the work outs are HARD! Mainly dance routines and for the best effect try and complete the whole set (as outlined in dvd).
But also, if diet tricks are your thing, then i've used various and many over the years, but i've found a couple real keepers!
The first is super simple, literally drink 2-3 litres of water a day for about 2-3 days and you'll obviously lose all your water weight, which is only temporary, i admit, but is a great way to boost your metabolism and jump start serious weight lose, plus, good for the skin, hair, nails etc etc.
Also, kinda gross, but people (esp big folk) tend to store lots of...erm....excess...in their colon. Sometimes up to 10lbs!!! The BEST way to get rid of this (also, not a quick fix, but a permant one and it's great) is to buy something called Physillium Husks. Pretty cheap and can be bought from healthspan (by far the best one) and Holland and Barret and various other health food places. Mix the provided big measuring spoon into a pint of water and drink twice a day, morning and evening. Also, chase this with 1-2 natural laxatives (peppermint oil etc) and rinse repeat for a couple days, or, until you pass. You WILL know when it's working because likely you will poop something long and leathery. Gross, i know, but it's great for you. It works as a detox, removed horrid stuff AND you cut down your weight. Do it a couple times a year and it stops build up AND keeps you regular and stops any nasty things like IBS and ulcers etc. When I first did it, i dropped 7lbs instantly. It's not a miracle, it's just natural stuff your body didn't do. (red meat is a big cause).
Apart from that, Green Tea and perppermint tea are great detoxers and when combined with the above, REALLY speeds up your weight lose.
None of these is permanant in the sense that it will continuously keep you losing, but once it's gone it's gone. and you'd be surprised how much you can lose so quickly AND SAFELY.
