Let me give you quick facts about myself. Im 17 turning 18 in 7 days, Im 5'8 1/2, and I weigh 215 lbs. I have a huge tummy and everyone makes fun of it and Im tired of it. People say I look good but not attactive due to my obesity. I want to loose weight so I can put that attractiveness back in me with my good looks. Is there any way I can lose weight quickly and naturally? Is it possible to diminish my pot belly or is it too late?? Sorry it was long just being specific so I can get specific answers. Thanks guys and gals!!

I have lost a total of 120 pounds so far.
I lost 105 pounds in my first 6 months. Here is how I did it.
1. Every morning get up and walk for 45 minutes. You can start with less time, but you want to get up to 45 minutes, and it must be fast walk. You want your heart rate to go up. It must be in the morning, it kick starts your metabolism.
2. I cut out Red Meat, and fatty foods. Boneless skinnless chicken breast, baked, or grilled, rice and vegetables (steamed).
3. Eat half. Just eat half of what you normally eat. Put 1/2 on your plate, and put the rest away. Cook less. When you go to fast food, get salads only. Or grilled chicken. No fries, only diet soda. Or water.
It will work, once you get into a routine, you will get hooked on the results, and you will keep the routine. It has been over a year for me.
Also start counting your calories. Write them down. You would be amazed as to how much more aware you are of your caloric intake, if you actually write it down. We recently discovered a site that offers a great program that counts calories, as well as keeps track of everything. It allows multiple users, so everyone in the family can keep track. They offer a free 7 day trial, and so far I am very impressed with the product. Try the 7 days and see. It allows you to add the exercise that you do during the day, which increases the amount of calories you can take in. Very Cool!!

Your goal may be unrealistic. It is possible but it is also more likely that you will rebound and gain it back or possibly more.
Use these tips to turbo charge your weight loss program.
Take it one pound at a time:
Don't get overwhelmed by how much weight you need to lose. Just take baby steps in the right direction and you'll be amazed at your progress when you look back. You didn't gain your weight overnight, so it will take time to lose it all.
Weekly weigh in:
Only measure your results and weigh yourself once a week to give your body time to make adjustments.
Share your journey:
Find a friend to lose weight with and become each other's coach. Check in several times a week to help each other stay on track.
The scale is not the final word:
Don't get discouraged when your progress seems to be slow according to your bathroom scale. Instead, measure your results with a tape measure-it will give you much more reliable and encouraging feedback.
Shop when you're full:
Only shop for food when you are not hungry to avoid buying foods you may regret later.
Set reachable goals:
If you know you need to get more exercise, begin with a manageable goal of, say, walking 10 minutes a day that you know you can achieve. Then build your self-esteem by achieving the small goals you set yourself.
Celebrate your success:

When you go about your daily routine add extra steps. Use the stairs instead of the elevator, part at the far end of the supermarket car park, and get rid of the TV remote control. Make little changes to add extra steps and these will quickly add up to support your goals.
Seek help if you need it:
If you need help to keep on track, then get it. If you have tried unsuccessfully over and over to lose weight, then you may need someone to help you. A weight loss coach can significantly increase the rate at which you lose weight and teach you how to stabilize at your goal weight.

It's not too late. You are young, and now is a great time to take charge of your health! Don't wait til you're 30, like I did. :)
Here's something I discovered a few months ago, and I think it's very important information for anyone who wants to lose weight. Check out the book Eat Right For Your Type by Dr. Peter D'adamo. His research has shown that certain foods are beneficial, or potentially could act like a poison, for your system, based on how they react with your blood type. Certain foods we may be eating every day may unknowingly be causing weight gain and other health problems. I lost two sizes on this plan in just a couple months, and I have more energy. It's not a diet, which is the great thing about it. Just pick up the mini book for your blood type that lists foods and drinks that are "good" or "bad" for your system, and take it into consideration every time you make a food choice, whether grocery shopping or going out to eat.
In addition, of course, are some basic rules of weight loss - avoid eating foods that contain refined sugars and/or high fructose corn syrup (such as sodas, candy, most pre-packaged dessert items) or contain too many "empty carbs" such as breads not listed as 100% whole grain; take steps to do some regular exercise, whether it be simply walking 30 minutes a day or other program to help you burn off the excess fat while you regulate your diet. (Also, the mini blood type reference book lists exercise recommendations appropriate for your type, and specific foods to avoid for weight loss.)

the best wight is to watch what you eat and exercise. eat things that are good for you, like fruits and vegetables. drink water instead od sweet drinks, if you feel like you need a pop, have a diet pop instead of an regular one. walking is a good exercise also
