Can't really give you advice on the 7-day diet, but I did the cabbage soup diet and the only reason I lost weight so fast was because I got SICK of eating it all the time and quit eating which isn't healthy. Once I started eating normal food again, the weight came back on.

Cabbage soup is a good way to lose but you get tired of eating it in a short time. Losing more than 2 -3 pounds a week is not good for you, either. Brisk walking is one of the best exercises that is not strenuous. It needs to be brisk - not a stroll, though. Every day for at least 30 minutes is a good start. Just cut out anything white except cauliflower ( bread, rice, sugar, flour, etc.) and lots of green and yellow vegetables is a safe diet.

I have done the cabbage soup diet and it was successful for me, however after I stopped the cabbage soup, I gained weight back almost immediately, even though I was still eating healthily and exercising. You really shouldn't eat the cabbage soup for longer than a week at a time. It's a catabolic food, so you're burning more calories than you're taking in. Doing it any longer than a week could be more harmful than helpful. Also, be prepared to feel hungrier more often. You should plan to add a couple of small snacks throughout the day, or plan to eat more soup. Other than that, it sounds pretty good. Good luck!
