You can get great sub rolls, different kinds of cheeses/meats and let everyone make their own sammies, or ask the park if there is an area to grill out and then just bring hamburgers/hotdogs/etc. Or Jewel carries ready made sushi, fried chicken, or rotisserie chicken. Dad could grab a few of those, and some salads from the deli(macaroni, potato, broccoli cheddar, etc) Or if you have the spare cash, and some coupons..google the nearest pizza place and have a few pizzas delivered. Or a nacho bar, which consists of bowls, canned nacho cheese warmed in a crockpot, chips, and ground beef, if you like and all the toppings. Or have a deli make up a few foot longs and slice, and then add chips and fruit. But sammies are lame..I know I know:) Have a great Birthday!!:)

I don't blame you for being excited about turning "13" and thinking about it...but you shouldn't worry. A fun party can be had anywhere...even the smallest of places! You might consider having it at a park if one is near you>>activities like kickball, dodgeball, Frisbee, tag, wheelbarrow races...tie balloons to trees, picnic table, chairs, etc. Pack picnic foods...carry a pizza, make cute cupcakes, have some snack stuff and drinks...pass out goodie bags. You could have both boys and girls for that.
Sleepover parties are fun...every girl should do one>>can have a mini spa theme or just a girls' game night in.(Spin the nail polish, truth or dare, card games, Twister, movies, music, hide and seek, scavenger hunt).
Dance party...glow in the dark, neon, black lights, everybody wears a white shirt or white tank top and brings a highlighter marker. You provide more and then you write on each other's shirts for a keepsake. Make a music playlist, serve easy food, dance and throw in a couple games. Just invite as many as you can fit into your "party area"--push furniture to the sides. Hang balloons with glow sticks inserted into them before blowing them up...looks really cool when hanging up in bunches. If no party stores nearby to shop...have Mom order things online.
You can have a taco bar if you want or hoagies or pizza and wings and a nice cake or ice cream cake.
You don't need a hotel or a restaurant or a pool to make it a good party....just getting a group of friends together, setting up the decorations and having good music and good food is perfect!
Something Simple is French Bread Pizza.
Just get a loaf of french bread. Cut it up into a slice or two per kid. Drizzle each slice with olive oil. Then Rub Tomatoe sauce on it, and sprinkle some cheese on top (Chedder, Swiss, etc.) Put all the slices on a pan and bake until crispy and baked. Bake at 350 degrees
You could also put a bag of fruit for each kid. A soda for energy. And maybe some Brownies are cupcakes.
Good Luck! :)

In addition to the salad and fruit suggestions: (and since teens love all things pizza)...why not do a Pepperoni Bread ahead of time (can slice it at home and fill Ziploc bags with them or slice at the park...either way, its' super easy to transport and EASY to make).....
PEPPERONI BREAD--makes 10 slices from a 1 pound pkg of dough
* 1 (1 pound) loaf bread dough, thawed or pizza dough from grocer's
* 1 egg, beaten
* 4 ounces sliced pepperoni sausage
* 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (or the combo cheese of 6 Italian blends)
* 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
* 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Lightly grease a baking sheet.
2. Roll bread dough out into a rectangle (use a floured surface and flour the dough for ease in handling--it's ok to use your hands, too to stretch the dough out :D). Arrange pepperoni, mozzarella cheese (or assorted blend) and parmesan cheese over the dough. Sprinkle on the Italian seasoning. Roll up dough like a jelly roll and pinch seam to seal; place, seam side down, on prepared baking sheet.
(I lay the roll from corner to corner to give more room for expansion)
I use the beaten egg to baste the top of the loaf before baking
3. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until golden. (Watch it after 35 min so bottom doesn't burn...but you want to be sure inside is cooked, too...so 40 min tops, I'd say)
***NOTE: It's nice to add fresh spinach leaves to the mixture for added nutrition and color! You can also do 1/2 using Prosciutto ham and 1/2 pepperoni.....just make it what you want.
Can serve with some marinara sauce (or whatever you have) for dipping.

LUNCHABLES, my kids love these things. Different varieties like hamburger, hot dog, crackers, pizza, nachos, etc... They come boxed up, ready to eat and easy to assemble. Or you could bring crackers with ham, cheese, summer sausage and assemble yourself. Juice packs come in the boxes too. Bring extra to keep hydrated and water too.
Fruit is a great thing to snack on in the heat. Bring a cooler full of it!

Unfortunately, water parks do not have BBQ's that I know of. Why don't you bring string cheese, veggies, salads, crackers, beef jerky, hard boiled eggs, fruit...you know, the stuff you bring out to softball tournaments to eat inbetween games.
Also, our local Mexican markets have these great bags/bowls of cut up fruit. They are really, really good and refreshing especially when you are outdoors all day.
Well, have fun!

attempt cream eyeshadow (i've got faith all manufacturers have them and use hues like golds, silvers perhaps a crimson or truly shimmery hues) i think of its water data ,and take a shimmery white on the indoors corners (the place the tearduct is) it opens the eyes, use water resistant mascara and CURL YOUR LASHES!!! use a creamy blush in case you like a gentle flush to the face and a few bronzers are water resistant and the type elf has those illuminating face whips to make your face dewy ( they're only a $a million at objective) and reallly rather and perhaps take a rather gloss and your stable to pass. and the lauren conrad hair could seem truly lovable or only beachy (wavy hair) or a intense messy bun p.s. lay off the eyeliner u dont wanna appear like a racoon (:

I like to make a large pasta salad with some vegetables, salami and mozzarella balls in it...italian dressing to top it off. It's easy, filling and nutritious. You can tweak it and use ham or turkey to make it more kid friendly.
Honestly though - make your own sandwiches would be easier and the kids won't care...

go the way of the salad...egg salad, potato salad, fruitsalad with grapes, watermelon, strawberries. yogurt packs a huge nutritional punch, especiall if u blend up some smoothies ahead of time, very refreshing.

Leftovers, whatever's leftover from dinner the night before make into sandwiches the next day. Flank steak with lettuce, salt and pepper makes a great lunch, roast beef, fried chicken, pizza, etc, ziti, lasagna warmed up, these all make great lunches. Whatever you've had the night before, warm up the next day for lunch!
Tuna fish sandwiches or tuna salad
Egg salad sandwiches or just egg salad
Salad, but add some chicken, tomatos, olives, carrots, hard boiled eggs, cucumbers, fennel, onions, etc.
Wraps, either with cold cuts or with chicken and add lettuce and tomatos. Put on a tortilla and cut in half.
Spaghetti or pasta
cold cut sandwiches
Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
Bagel with cream cheese or peanut butter
Grilled cheese sandwiches
Hamburgers and hot dogs
Mac and cheese
Cheese and crackers with fruit
Fruit salad with lemon juice sprinkled on top so it doesn't turn brown
Fruit slices with peanut butter
Cut up carrots, celery, and veggies with dip
pancakes or waffles, as long as they like it!
Chicken cutlet or grilled chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato.
I hope some of these ideas help!
