I just started the atkins diet phase 1 and was curious on how many pounds in a week I could possibly lose? Im working out an hour every single day as well. Eating only what I am allowed and not cheating.

Weight loss depends on a lot of things, and are based on the individual. Like your starting weight, how much fat you have to lose, how much fat you are ingesting. Typically, you'll lose around 5% of your body weight in water only the first week to two weeks while you are keto-adapting.
After that, weight loss will also be determinant on many factors, including sex (males lose weight faster due to sex hormone differences).
@Skeptic - someone who promotes grains and is anti-meat focuses more on a tree-hugging ethics plane, rather than focusing on proper nutrition. It is well known that 60% of vegetarians are deficient in essential vitamins, and vegans 70-80%. Campbell uses observational studies and strings of associations to "prove" points, which is just plain BAD SCIENCE. Further, Atkins is a life plan, not a diet.

Eggs - Omelet, Scrambled, Poached, fried anything really
Chicken - ( i personally like chicken tikka! ) or anything else
Oh and I got really excited when i found out i could eat burgers or hot dogs ( without the bun obviously )
It is hard, I tried it for a while and lost 10 pounds! But as i got into it i discovered more and more food. Oh you should try the atkins diet website because they have a list of foods you can eat and HUNDREDS of recipes xx
The Four Phases of the Atkins Diet include the following:
Calorie consumption is limited to only 20ngrams per day, while sources of carbohydrates are received from low-starch items such as vegetables and salads.
2. ON-Going Weight Loss:
Also referred to as OWL, this includes a diet high in nutrients and fiber that includes 25 grams in the first week, 30 grams during the second, and then continuing with 30 grams every subsequent week until you experience a loss in weight. As you progress further into the diet, you can begin adding a wider range of carbohydrates to your diet, although you must continue monitoring your weight and make sure that it isn’t increasing.

You can lose very rapidly the first several weeks up to 2-4 pounds per week average. After that, the vast majority of people plateau. When you do plateau, you want to switch to a diet the is sustainable for life. That diet is called the Whole Food Plant Based (WFPB) lifestyle. That completely depends on you. Thee is no standard. Normally around 5-8 first week. But it varies greatly.

I'm sorry to hear you say it isnt the healthiest diet, because I have researched it pretty well and found it to be quite healthy. I have been involved with low carbing and Atkins since 2002 and I am in great health. I first went on Atkins after researching it for a New Years resolution Jan 1, 2003 and I lost 50 lbs by June of that year. I have since kept it off by watching my carbs. I just recently decided to trim off an additional 20 lbs to get "ripped" and Im down 15 lbs since Jan 2nd.
