Bowling alley or Chuck-E-Cheeze. What's with 16th birthday parties being all extravagent anyway? All those people going aren't really your friends. They're just there for a free party.

you can design personal invitations here-- http://www.evite.com/party/invitations/#... Decor: Make this sixteenth birthday party extra sweet with a candy theme. Let Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory and the board game Candyland be your inspiration. String gumdrops into garlands, hang lollipops from the ceiling using ribbon, and fill the room with bowls of jellybeans, gumballs and mini chocolates. Celebrate that the birthday babe is of legal driving age with a car-themed party. Decorate with posters of luxury cars, and give car-logo keychains as party favors. A dancing theme works well for co-ed and single-sex parties. A few disco balls, colored light bulbs and a strobe light are all you need to re-create that nightclub vibe. Have the guest of honor and close friends choreograph and perform a special dance during the party. Activities: Forget what you see on TV. You don’t need a millionaire father, a flashy sports car and a bad attitude to have a good sweet sixteen party. Make it great with one of these cool twists: • Take a limo ride around town • Have a tarot card reader tell fortunes • Hire a henna tattoo artist • Book a dance teacher to give lessons in salsa or hip-hop • Host a singing or dancing contest where guests perform Honor the birthday person’s favorite people with a special candle-lighting ceremony. Before the party, choose the 16 most special people in the birthday person's life. Keep the candles on the cake unlit, and ask each of the 16 people to come up individually and light one of the candles.

Dissolve B vitamin pills in water and put them in cool containers around the room... B vitamins will make water glow bright yellow. Give out white T shirts and highlighters and let people write on each other. Use neon spray paint for decorations... they almost all glow under a blacklight. You're gonna need a lot of lights for a banquet room though...

It might be hard to book a place at this point. People usually look into these things a few months before a party. What's the budget?

elect the activity room. you could gown up fairly severe-high quality, and function exciting, and your visitors will relatively savour it. in case you opt to relatively gown up, have the main usual social gathering early interior the day, then you definately, close pals and family individuals go out someplace very stylish for dinner. Your social gathering wont be any exciting in the adventure that your visitors are status around staring on the partitions. basically have exciting the place ever you finally end up. happy Birthday! :)

It depends on the kind of party you want to have and how many people will be there. You could have a theme party like the 70's at a roller rink (think roller disco) or a 50's theme at a bowling alley. Or if you have a bit more money to spend you could look into possibly renting a local nightclub, Knights of Columbus hall or VFW hall for a Saturday afternoon. If you rent a hall your friends and family could help you by decorating with balloons (rent a helium tank and blow them up yourself) and by making mix cd's so you won't have to hire a dj. Your family could also make the food or go to Costco or Sam's Club and buy the cake and some appetizers and finger foods there. Theres a lot of things you could do for not a ton of money.
