If I choose a carb diet, as a way of eating for the rest of my life, and walk/jog/run a little everyday, will I lose 30 plus pounds within a month? I've been reading, and even heard from family members, that the first 30 pounds can be EASILY lost in a month.
I just want to hear you guy's opinions!

NO, "LOW CARB DIETS" ARE VERY BAD..YOU CAN LOSE 30 LBS BY EATING HEALTHY FOODS ONLY AND WALKING,,BUT NOT IN 1 MONTH..THAT TYPE OF WEIGHT LOSS IS NOT NATURAL AND VERY BAD FOR HEALTH
The MOST important thing is to eat naturally..without medicines, chemicals, "starving" your self etc.
first, it would be best for you to eat as healthy as possible..this will also help you considerably to lose weight gradually and naturally..
eat fresh fruits, vegetables, drink plenty of WATER..avoid all cokes, caffeines, smoking, alchohol etc. as these also add weight as well as they contain chemicals which disturb your natural bio rythmns as well as brain chemistry. try not to eat too much meat, and the meat you should eat should be "lean meat" such as steamed chicken and rice, or steamed fish with rice..and vegetables,, this should be your staple diet rice and vegetables with fruits..AVOID "JUNK FOOD" and "Fast Food" as this type of food is very unhealthy, lacking in vitamins really and has plenty of fattening molecules which make one gain weight and is very bad for overall health.
if you snack,, try fruits with yogurt or fruit yogurt and nuts.. nuts are very healthy for your body .and contain proteins.
go for walks every evening or morning or whenever you get time each day for 1 hour or 2 hours..make this somewhere you enjoy walking even if you have to drive a bit to there..and make this a daily routine..you will enjoy it once you get into it ..and it makes you feel great after..just walking for 1 hour or 2 hours.
if you do this..every day for one month ..you should lose around 10 pounds (.714 stone) per month until you get to your natural healthy weight.. look up on the internet for an idea of what your weight for your height should be ..and when you get to this weight,,your body will look very nice and you will feel very good.
10 pounds (.714 stone ) each month in 3 months you should lose 30 pounds (2 stones, 2 pounds)..for sure...but no junk food and dont drink alcohol or smoke, dont eat junk..just healthy food with vitamins and walking 1 hour or 2 hours every day..and drink plenty of water..this is guaranteed way to lose weight naturally and for good, if you stick to this, which you should,,as it makes you feel so much more positive due to the vitamins and lack of chemicals making you feel depressed...
btw, forgot to mention,,just in case you dont know how to really make healthy meals..buy a "food steamer" at your local deparment store..they are very cheap and work very well..as well as buy a "rice cooker" which is also very cheap..eating rice is a great way to get your necessary carbs "healthy carbs" to lose weight and has lots of natural energy inside. you can buy asian rice at most large supermarkets or if you have a local oriental market..they sale quality asian rice.. thai or indian rice is good "jasmine rice".. buy corn or canola oil to sprinkle on vegetables or rice before steaming to add to taste as well as you can buy several nice spices like "cumin" or "Curry powders", etc.just sprinkle on the vegetables before steaming to give nice taste.
drink "Green Tea" as this is very healthy and helps burn extra fat faster...you can buy quality green tea at most oriental shops or large supermarkets as well

You need something other than water (read: food) to survive. Ingesting nothing but water for a week will kill you due to malnourishment. You will also probably become very bloated. This "diet" is dangerous and will probably give you the opposite short term effect that you are counting on. Just cut your meals back a bit and you will be surprised how much weight you lose.
The only way you can loose 30 pounds in a month is if your significantly overweight- if you have actually 100 or more pounds to loose than 30 pound weight loss is possible, but anything less isn't possible. 30 pounds a month, is 1 pound a day and truthfully and virtually impossible. Eating a low carb diet for the rest of your life is also really unhealthy and really bad because you will missing out essential nutrients. Ideally you want to follow the food guide pyramid. The problem is many people misread the food guide pyramid. First get down to a healthy weight, what ever that may be. And then work on maintaing. Suppose your are about 5"5, ideally you want to weigh 125 pounds. And working out would look like this:
cardio: 3-4x a week for 1 hour
lifting weights: 4x a week for 25 minutes
yoga: 1x a week for 1 hour
total: working out 4-6 days a weeek.
drink: 6 cups of water a day
calories: eat 1800 calories a day
eat: 7 servings of carbs, 4 servings of proteins, 2 servings of dairy, 5 servings of fruit, 4 servings of veggies, fats here and there.
sample day once you reach your goal weight looks like this
B- measure a cup of smart start cereal w/ 1 cup of 1% milk, banana, cup of orange juice
L- half whole wheat pita w/ can of tuna (that is drained in water) w/ low fat mayo, lettuce, tomato (2 slices of tomato), 13 baby carrot sticks
S- apple, 2 tbsp peanut butter
D- medium piece of smoked turkey breast- lean and white part of the meat, cup of cooked brown rice, 5 broccoli trees
S- 6oz low fat fruited yogurt w/ half cup granola mixed in

Try eating low carb until you've lost all the weight you want to lose, and then slowly bring in carbs with plenty of exercise and such. It's easy to remain a stable weight doing that, but unless you're exercising constantly and eating very little, it's really hard to lose weight and eat carbs at the same time.

Try the low carb shakes at Clinifast. They are only 45 calorlies but have the same nutrients that are in a 400 cal meal. Plus they only have 1 net carb. Tons of flavors available.

30 pounds in a month is way too much. 2 pounds a week is realistic and safe. Anymore and you'll be losing muscle mass and water not just body fat.

I know you don't want to hear this, but calling the vet ASAP is reall yhte best option. Call the office and see if they left and emergency contact number. If that doesn't work, try calling an emergency vet for adivce. You may not need to bring her in, but that way you can get some advice.If there aren't any nearby, call the closest one even if it is far away just to get some advice. You can't trust medical advice here.
Not drinking can be serious, and her not bending over is an odd symptom. The antibiotics or dehydration could be making her stomach upset, so she may not want to bend down. He stomcah could also hurt from pushing out all that poo, so that could make her not want to move. Try putting the water dish on something so she doesn't have to bend down. She is probably dehydrated, so it is important she gets water. Keep an eye on her if there is absolutly no way to contact a vet. Encourage her to drink, and make sure that she is going to the bathroom. If she isn't peeing, then it is defintely time to contact a vet.
