It's time you try some medication; if a high intake of fiber hasn't helped you by now, medication is the other way to go. The longer you go on without defecating, the harder your feces will become because the body absorbs water from fecal matter. I've seen patients that have been many weeks without defecating, and they've vomited up the feces. You can try some OTC medications that can help. One is Colace [docusate sodium]; this isn't a laxative, it makes the stools softer so that they're easier to pass. Another is Dulcolax [bisacodyl]; this is a laxative that stimulates the intestine to pass the stools, and is available in tablet, liquid and supossitory forms. You may also try a Fleet enema; this is a saline solution that rehydrates the stools and will make you feel an urge to defecate about 15 to 30 minutes after it is administered rectally. If none of these helps, you should go to a doctor ASAP; he/she may prescribe other medications that aren't available OTC. I hope that my advise has been of help, and that the situation resolves itself soon. Make sure to drink at least eight to ten 8-ounce glasses of water daily; poor hydration is one of the leading causes of constipation. And also use a fiber supplement like Benefiber or Citrucel to keep your intestines working properly. Good luck, and hope you feel better real soon.

It's highly unusual for a 13 y/o to be constipated but it isn't impossible. You say you been constipated for a week. With you writing that you feel like you want to vomit, that's a sign of bowel obstruction. That's an emergency. You need to tell your parents, the school nurse, or go down to the ER as soon as you can.
Regardless of whether you have a bowel obstruction or not. You should see a Dr. to determine the cause of your constipation, it could be psycho-social, or diet related, or because of your inner anatomy. If you don't you'll make the problem worse over time. By being constipated, you'll stretch your intestines to the point where they don't work anymore.
You need to use the bathroom right away to get rid of all those toxins. I would get a gentle laxative from a convenience store. For maintenance, the only thing that works for me is a daily dose of Total raisin bran. A box of raisins does'nt help me either. This amount of fiber will help break down the food so that it can pass through, and enough water will help with the easiness. You can also try a weekly remedy of Smooth Moves herbal tea if it has been more than two days. You should be going once a day. Hope this helps.

If increasing fiber and water intake didn't help the situation you may want to try an over the counter laxative.
If that doesn't seem to do the trick see your doctor asap you might have a blockage (especially if you can't pass gas).

Better see a specialist-doctor on gastroenterology ASAP. Something is very wrong with you. All the food residue that is trapped in your large intestine is slowly poisoning you. Also this condition is conducive to growths that may lead to colon cancer in your adult years. See that doctor right away and dont waste time asking help in websites like this one.
