I'm 16 years old and 120 pounds but I have a pretty round belly. I want a flat stomach so I think running would be easiest... So how long should I run daily? and how long before I see results? And will running in place work the same? If you have any other ways for me to get a flat stomach that'll help too, thank you in advance!

jogging is an excellent exercise because it let you lose weight
evenly throughout your whole body. If you want to lose weight in
specific areas, you should target them with exercises. If they are
your problem areas, they will be very difficult to tone. You will have
to work double on them. The best approach is this:
1. Lower/control your daily calorie intake (control for normal
weight, lower for overweight).
2. Run/jog to lower your overall body fat percentage.
3. Target your problem areas with exercises.
an excellent exercise, you can do it in front of your TV: sit on a
stool, and put your toes under something (piece of heavy furniture,
for example). In your hands hold a little dumbbell. Please, make sure
that it is not very heavy, start with one kilo, for example, or you
will damage your back and spine! Slowly move the upper part of your
body back, until it's parallel with the ground. Stop for a second and
move it back to the sitting position. Repeat ten times. Every week add
to the number of repetitions. You will see the results in a week,
guaranteed! Your stomach would be flatter and stronger.
Dumbbells do wonders. Much better than these
crunches - I came up to three hundreds and there was no results AT
ALL. With the dumbbells you will see it in a week.

You can't make your body lose weight in specific areas, you just have to lose weight in general. The best way is to cut out sugar and junk food. Make sure you don't eat empty carbs (white flour), and do a lot of cardio mixed with weight training. Since you want to do it at home, I would go running, or jump rope. Do situps and push ups and lunges as well.
Cardio! This includes running, jogging, jumping jacks etc. you can also add an ab workout which somewhat speeds up the process. I do 60 crunches a day and a hundred jumping jacks. I've seen really nice results. Bike-Riding is also really easy and helps lose belly fat!

in my opinion; jogging, jumping, brist walk and some light exercise for belly will work but i would not suggest for an ab exercise since for the time being, it will work and when you will leave it, it will come to its position again. bike riding will also be good for you. one thing more, try to focus on your diet also. avoid eating junk food and the foods that contain much oil. follow these steps, you will get your desired results.

You're very pretty! How rude of those people to say otherwise, especially your family. First and foremost please know that you don't ever need to compare yourself to others, not even family members.
If you want to lose some weight then do abdominal and core exercises, anything as simple as situps and pushups (try 10 of each the first day, 20 the next, and work your way up to doing 50 of each per day). Also, to tone your body try cardio workouts, you can get these on DVD or take a class.
It's really simple if you think about it, the key is commitment. Motivate yourself to exercise every day and you will be healthy and happy!
