Question: okay i currently weigh 124 i wanna gain 10 pounds but this is the thing i have a high metabolism. i can eat a large amount of food n afterwards wont gain no weight i wanna change that but how?

Whatever you do, don't smoke, we all know the side effects of that! Anyway smoking is more likely to get rid of your hunger, causing less eating. You don't want to eat junk food either. If you get into a routine eating 3 candy bars and two bowls of ice cream a day, or something like that, how are you going to get out of the habit! Plus, you don't want to gain weight in fat, muscle is better. Don't go crazy on the working out, try the gym like 3-4 times a week, and maybe buy some weights for home. You can probably get the weights in easy, just do it while your watching tv or something.

Hey buddy, The biggest mistake when building muscle is copying Bodybuilders. Most of them don't train naturally, are genetically gifted and never started training that way. Doing their routines won't make you build muscle fast. The average person needs a different approach. One that builds muscle in a short time and prevents physical & mental overtraining from doing too much, too soon. Here's one way to build muscle and gain weight: 1. Grow Stronger. More strength is more muscle. Get into strength training. I recommend weight lifting due to the fact that it allows you to start light and add weight endlessly. Start with an empty bar. Learn proper technique. Add weight each workout to keep pushing your body out of comfort zone. You can also do calisthenics : Push-ups, Pull-ups, Pistols, etc. Switch to harder versions or add weight when they become easy. 2. Use Free Weights. You can lift the heaviest weights using barbells. More weight is more stress, thus more muscle. Dumbbells are great for assistance exercises, but not for your chief lifts. It's Safe, Efficient, Functional and versatile. 3. Train Your Legs. Squats work your whole body, they're the most effective exercise. You'll look totally different once you can Squat 1.5times your body-weight. That's a free weight Squat with hips coming lower than knees. 4. Get Recovery. Pro athletes workout 5-6 times per week. But they didn't start that way. They added workouts as they got stronger & bigger. You'll overtrain if you jump into their routines. As a beginner you need more recovery. Make sure you rest, sleep, drink enough water and eat in a proper way. "Eat like a horse. Sleep like a baby. Grow like a weed". 5. Eat Whole Foods. You'll attain a lower body fat, so the muscles you've built show better. And the vitamin & mineral content helps recovery. Stop eating food coming from a box. Consume whole foods 90% of the time. Proteins: poultry, fish, whey, milk, Carbs.: Brown rice, quinoa, Veggies: tomato, carrot, Fruits: orange, apple, pineapple, Fats : fish oil, real butter, nuts, flax seeds, 6. Eat More. You need food for energy and for muscle growth & recovery. Eat Post Workout. Get proteins & carbs post workout to help muscle recovery & replenish energy store. Eat Every 3 Hours. 6 meals per day . Gives your muscles a stable intake of protein, quickens muscle repair & recovery. 7. Gain Weight. You'll never look strong weighing 140lbs at 6". No matter how much training you do. Here's the most substantial part. Eat Calorie Dense Foods. Get Stronger. Drink Whole Milk. 8. Consume Protein. Proteins have the highest thermic effect. You need 1g protein for each pound of body-weight daily to build and maintain muscle. That's 160g of daily protein if you weigh 160lbs/72kg. Eat whole proteins with in your meal. you dont want to gain weight in fat silly!! you want to gain muscle weight... besides it weighs more! seriously... if you want to gain weight stay away from not excersizing eating junk food and smoking.. you dont want to look like a fat pig do you??? NO.. so get your but to the gym and start stuffing protien bars down your throat!!!! all the newfound muscle weighs more than fat so you will lose weight at first and then gain it back. Seriously muscle instead of fat has soooo many advantages. For starters you will live a lot longer, you will not be as angry or as stressed the more you excersize and you wont get saggy when your old! EXCERSIZE NOT JUNK FOOD!!! I hate when people tell you to eat junk food when they want to gain weight!!!!This is not the right answer!!

Eat every coupla hours. Heavy on the protein. And have some protein before bed. Peanut butter is good. Protein shkes/bars help. Also, if you wake in the middle of the night, have a protein rich snack then. Try to add some weight training in.

If you wan't to attain weight, and construct muscle. You do not wan't to only over consume with junk meals. This will definitely makeyou fatter, and dangerous. But for those who wan't to attain muscle you'll need to drink a few prime protein drink's, shakes, meals. Peanut Butter & Jelly I feel could be a well begin. The Peanut Butter will furnish you with Protein, whilst the Jelly has lot's of High Fructose, and Sugars, to support positioned of the burden.
