Question: Ok well I have read that drinking lots of water makes your skin look better by washing out and purifying.. What are some healthy foods that are good for you and help keep your skin clean,(That taste good and not blah!!)

Whole-wheat bread, muffins, and cereals; turkey, tuna and brazil nuts. The mineral selenium connects all these foods for healthy skin. Experts say selenium plays a key role in the health of skin cells. Some studies show that even skin damaged by the sun may suffer fewer consequences if selenium levels are high. Green Tea. Green tea can reduce the risk of damage from ultraviolet light (such as the burning rays of the sun), and thus reduce the risk of skin cancer. Food in itself is not a cure for any skin problem, so you have to use topical creams and lotions to improve your skin, as well as having healthy diet.

i am not to sure what the best diet might be, but i know what can help clear skin. make sure to drink lots of water and keep hidrated. also , eat lots of fruits and vegtables to help clear your skin. but if it is bad acne maybe try going into the sun more to dry them up or go on the special birth control for acne, it does the job!Another thing is do some daily exercises. for example run, walk, ride a bike, dance, etc.. i was on the track team at my school and when i was running everyday after school i felt amazing and my skin was clearing up a little, just try it , it may do the trick! If you just eat really heathly and get away from the greesy fatty foods you might see a difference in your skin and even your weight. good Luck :)

I make fresh juice everymorning and drink it on an empty stomach. In 2 weeks you will see the difference. I put, Celery, Carrot, Apple (because I don't really like veges much!) Drink it everyday for 2 weeks and see the difference. Keep going and any pigmentation you might have will lighten. Make sure you drink it straight after you juice it as oxygen breaks down vital vitamins in as fast as 1min. Also, clean intestines are improtant too so make sure you are "regular" and if not eat lots of fibre and drink water. I am 30years old, and I still get people assuming I'm about early 20's

well it's the vitamins, minerals, antioxidants etc that help, not the food. but the foods highest in anti-acne nutrients are apples, berries, pears and garlic. look them up. they are "superfoods" when it comes to acne. don't drink too much water though! it does more harm than good in excess. cut out dairy. dairy lessens the amount of toxins your body flushes out. so it can cause more acne. only eat low g-i foods. high gi foods do something that can worsen/cause acne. also, have a predominately healthy diet! at least 80% healthy!

Hi Adequate amount of protein like soya, black chana, or for the non-veg, fish and eggs. Adequate amount of zinc and chromium which is easily available from nuts and seeds . A diet comprising of 50% fresh(raw)foods and 50% of cooked foods. Sulphur and Silicon in vegetables like broccoli, sea vegetables, onion. Biotin found in brown rice and soya. A little bit of the flaxseed oil for the essential fatty acids and also to maintain the ratio of the omega 3 and omega 6 fatty acids. All the B vitamins found in all the colored fruits like papaya, watermelon, oranges etc. Vitamin C found in amla and all the citrus fruits. Alfa Alfa sprouts or Alfa-Alfa leave extract or triphala daily.

Avocadoes. Incidentally, recent scientific studies show that drinking lots of water does not make any difference in skin condition. Diet, exposure to UV rays, smoking, and general environmental factors are more significant.

Was reading about this on yahoo about an hour ago and they where saying the beautifying food shopping list is: grapefruit; salmon; oyster or lean beef; beans, lentils, bananas, apples, dried apricot, yogurt, oranges, broccoli, avocados, tomatoes and spinach. Try it

Try the regimen that I use. You can either use Basis or Purpose face wash for daily use (it's very gentle to the skin). Use DDF Sulfur Therapeutic Mask on your face once a week.. it works wonders! It's kind of hard to get a hold of unless you have a Sephora near you but you can also replace that with an aspirin mask, The aspirin mask does not work very well for me but there are raving reviews for many people. It is supposed to diminish blackheads, blemishes, and pimples so your best bet is with the aspirin mask. Try mixing it with honey because honey has soothing properties. Drink a lot of water, eliminate junk food and sugar from your diet, and add vegetables and fruits to your daily diet. Try taking omega 3 fish oil capsules as well. Not only does it help with acne, it also makes your hair and nails feel healthier. For moisturizer, try using jojoba oil. Its all natural and the best moisturizer in my book. Don't use a towel after you wash your face.. it has more bacteria than you think. Just let it air dry. Hope this helps.
