I eat irregular too, and sometimes I don't even eat a meal, just a snack. I like organic foods, if you have the money for them. I also look at calories, I don't count them, but I compare them with other food options like of sauces, or cereals and so on. I was told that a snack should be under 150 calories so I aim my snacks at that! About losing weight, well Spring is coming (I know it's only January, just go with it), maybe set out your bathing suit in front of your mirror or somewhere you go every day so you can see it there for inspiration. Or maybe buy a sexy thong and bra pair and think of how good you will look with it on when you reach your target weight! I think little inspirations like picturing yourself bare (bikini, sexy thong) is great motivation! Maybe get a gym membership and see if they have any classes, or go to a YMCA and go swimming? Or walk more everyday and while you walk do 10 squats, walk some more, do 10 lunges each leg, walk some more. Or get weights to walk with. I read a tiny little excerpt on Mel B or something and she says she does 200 crunches a day. Don't do 200 maybe, but they do give you results! Good luck! I am trying to lose weight/eat right/exercise too maybe we can be buddies :D

excercise or dance to music any way you want, everyday at least 30 mins. That can be your first goal. and if you get tired or worn out keep thinking of finally wearing a bathing siut and looking good. DRINK LOTS AND LOTS OF ICE WATER!! Instead of drinking anthing else drink water instead. Ice water is the best thing to raise you metabolism. Ive lost ten pounds only on drinking cold water alot.

Losing weight will not be easy and you'll have to change your lifestyle in order to lose it and maintain it. Losing weight is not like a diet fad that you get off and go back to your old ways after reaching a goal. Simply put, exercise and diet is the key. Fat in your diet is good but in moderation. Just watch your calorie intake and adjust to how much you exercise that day. Don't starve yourself, but fill yourself up to near full and wanting a little more. Obviously eat healthier with no fried food/fast food and allow yourself 1 "splurge" day a week to have a nice not so healthy meal that day. So you don't go crazy with your diet if you keep a very strict one. You'll probably need a committed workout buddy for at least your first month. They will be there to help and encourage you, and preferably someone who is already knowledgeable in working out and diet. Or if both of you are inexperienced it would be good to pay for an intro trainer to show you the basics. I recommend weight lifting as the fastest way to lose weight, throw away that stupid philosophy amongst women that you'll get big if you lift weights. You do low weight, high repetitions for toning purposes. Your muscles are metabolic and if you exercise them, they will consume calories, and in turn lose weight faster. And mix in cardio amongst the workout, but please don't jog for an hour on a cardio machine reading a magazine/book the whole time. If you can read then you're not pushing your body, and not burning a lot of calories. It just means you have a really good cardiovascular system and you just wasted your time. The mental aspect and motivation is the worst part amongst women in my personal experience when it comes to exercising. I actually turn down people I know that have a bad attitude or lazy way of going about things when they ask me to help them at the gym. They end up wasting their time and my time when they don't listen or do what I tell them to. O and ladies shouldn't worry about how they look at the gym and be insecure of how they look. You're their to improve yourself, everyone is at a different level. Hell most guys in the gym are just as insecure about themselves as you are ladies. Remember its a lifestyle not a fad and if you exercise 5-6 days a week, you should lose 20-25 lbs in no time. Best of luck to your goals.
