I heard that after you finish the atkins diet you gain whatever weight you have lost
so my question is, is that true?
& if it is true what can you do so that when you stop you dont gain the weight back?

Once you have more fat cells on your body than you want or need, *any* weight loss gimmick -- drugs, pills, stomach staple, Weight Watchers, Atkins diet, Hollywood or whatever the latest one is, you will inevitably gain it back unless...... you keep it up forever! Those little fat cells are waiting to grow back if you ever stop Atkins, Weight Watchers or any diet.
So, you must decide to eat skinny and move your body/exercise a little each day from now on. I like the low fat high vegetable Vegetarian diets that get rid of the sugar and starchy foods like Atkins, but do include 3 or more fruits and 4-5 servings of vegetables a day. You lose weight naturally and it's healthy -- prevents heart disease, cancer, and even helps diabetes. The Atkins diet may be a good thing to wean you off of sugar.... otherwise it's not healthy in the long run. Dr. Atkins *really* did die of a heart attack at a young age (and was a cardiologist).

Carbs are energy for life. The Atkins diet is a fad that will fade away and return in a few years, as so many others have done. Your best bet is to eat balanced meals. Eat only the caloric intake that you burn in a day. If you want to eat more, you will have to burn more. There are many easy ways to enhance your metabolism to burn more calories without special effort. Avoid soda pop and any caloric drink (your body stores liquid calories quickly). Don't stuff yourself. Eat smaller portions more often. Get your exercise in the mornings. Don't eat after 7:00 pm.
Okay I've performed each so ... First of all in case you've simplest misplaced five lbs in a single month on a vegetarian vitamin you ordinarily have not been workout and/or you could have taken in too many energy. Just when you consider that it is non carnivorous does not imply its low calorie. Now as for ATKINS run....do not do it. I suggestion I was once so intelligent and so did all of the individuals I satisfied to head on Atkins motive I misplaced 29 lbs in a month, BUT... no longer simplest did the load come correct again the minute I bought again to the truly global and ate a couple of carbs. however I received again extra, plus I grew to be a B*tch at the same time in this vitamin. his diet is more of a lifestyle change, he has 3 phases. induction, continued and maintenance or lifestyle phase. Thats like saying if i eat really healthy to loose weight and then eat cookies and chips will i regain weight. Yes you will. His lifestyles phase is about healthy carbs and protein and it is a change and still healthier than what most people eat. As with any diet if you go back to unhealthy eating habits you will pack the pounds back on.

You need to read the book, he tells you how to modify it to suit your needs.
BTW, if you are not eating ANY carbs you are NOT doing Atkins. You should be eating your veggies right from the start. This is why you need to read the book, so that you actually know what Atkins is and how it is done.
