I an 5'5 and 143 pounds. A year ago I was 125 pounds but gained weight after not being able to exercise due to injuries following a car accident. What is the quickest way that I could lose fat and drop pounds?? I ideally want to get to around 115 pounds. I have already cut out all sodas and am drinking at least 3 25 mL water bottles per day. Are there any diets or exercise plans that could help me slim down and get thin quickly?? Thanks!

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don't eat wheat then you don't eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don't eat junk food, and you don't eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Secondly, there's no perfect diets and no perfect exercises.
The simple rules (that work) to lose weight is :
Jogging? Swimming? Gym?
Decrease your calories by 200 and eat healthy
EXERCISES FOR STOMACH AREA
Sit ups and crunches are good, but you running is also excellent
Don't forget to drink a lot of water and sleep well,
don't cut your carbs, but count your calories.
avoid eating while rading listening songs and watching tv at your home or keep by kepping your hands busy

dump the junk food if you want to avoid temptation make sure you clean out the fridge and the pantry

The best way to lose weight or maintain a healthy weight is through changing your eating habits and exercising regularly.
1. Choose whole grains.
2. Drink plenty of water.
3. Choose lean meats and fish.
4. Know the portion sizes for your calorie target.
5. Limit fats to an average of 15 grams per meal.
6. Choose fresh fruits and vegetables whenever possible.
7. Work out for no less that 45 minutes, 4-5 days a week.
8. Select foods with less than 3 grams of fat per 100 calories.
9. Choose pretzels, baked chips, fat-free popcorn instead of fries and chips.
10. Avoid foods with partially hydrogenated oils, trans-fats and high-fructose corn syrup.
11. Choose cereal, bread, crackers or chips that contain 2 or more grams of fiber per 100 calories.
12. Choose fat-free or low-fat variety of foods especially when it comes to dairy products (milk, cheese, and yogurt).

I know you probably don't want to hear this but "they" were right...lots of fruits and vegetables (3/4 of your plate) and daily exercise (whatever you're able to do) 1400 calories for someone your size.
If you lose weight sensibly it will stay off. No fad diets please.
Remember, it took a year to put this weight on, it will take some time to lose it.

Think about it--how can you lose all that when it took a year to gain it.
If you want to lose all that in one day--then get a liposuction. But it's not going to teach you to eat healthy / correctly, is it? In a short time, you will gain it all back, and more.
Exercise is the only way.

always have vegetables on hand saute a big bag of frozen mixed vegetables in olive oil and garlic add some red pepper or turmeric for additional flavor and separate into portion sized containers for the fridge

If you are beginner of exercise/workout, 4 days a week is ok, if you are young and strong enough, you can go to exercise 6 days a week. try to focus weight training for gain muscle (body shape) and cardio exercise to burn fat. Once you have more muscle, then you will burn more fat. and if you are follow the 1200 cal daily diet, you will losing faster. But dont focus the number of scale, because sometime number do not drop, but suddenly drop very fast in week! But you can "test" with your dream dress, because you must reducing your dress size for sure!
