Question: Hi! So my mom and some friends keep saying that i'm too skinny, and that I need to gain weight. I'm 5'5" and 130lbs. About six months ago, I weighed around 150ish. They think I don't eat, but I eat a lot of food all the time. It makes me feel insecure when they make jokes/comments about me. oh btw, i'm 19 too. So I'm done growing with my height.

I guess it depends on your build. My wife is 5'6"1/2 and weighs 120lbs. and isn't what I'd call "skinny" at all. Very nicely built by her own admission, perfect by mine, shapely and curvy. But it depends on your build and fitness. Muscle weighs a lot more than fat, too, so ignore the scale and pay attention to the mirror and your own judgement. Why do you care what your mom and friends think about your appearance, anyway?

if you think u are skinny ..(judge by looking at mirror)..then u should gain weight. but if u like skinny or u think you are prefectly fine dont do anything about it. Dont care what others think.Care what u like!
