Ok I have prom in about a month and a week. Is it possible that I can lose stomach fat? Because my body is an hourglass 37,25,37. My waist is really small but underneath has fat. It grosses me out and I really want to have a nice body for prom. Sorry for being a little to vain, but I will like that. So what should I eat and exercise to lose weight and btw I am 14.

Try talking to your doctor first, about ways to lose weight for your body shape/size. You're 14, so you are at a good age now to start taking control of your body. You're not fat, you just have excess belly fat which a lot of girls have around their navel. Don't try to start eating less, because even though it may make you lose weight, it will be very unhealthy for you and cause problems later on. Eating a diet full of vegetables and fruit is very good. The USDA food pyramid reccommends 6-11 servings of breads, wheats, rice, etc. daily. 3-4 servings of vegetables, 2-3 servings of fruit, 1-2 servings of poultry/nuts, and 1-2 servings of dairy.
Eat a low sodium and low in fat diet. But be careful that many low fat dishes have high amounts of sodium, so try to find a happy medium. Check the serving size and nutrition facts on everything you eat, and drink plenty of water! At least 8 8 oz glasses a day. (4 regular sized water bottles). Try to get at least 8 hours of sleep a night, as nopt enough sleep can make you gain weight too. Get at least an hour of vigourous exercise, such as running, jogging, biking, doing this with friends can help too. And look up abdominal exercises to tighten your core.I curently do p90x which has me doing abdominal workouts 3 days out of the week. Do NOT do ab workouts every day, because your muscles need time to strengthen and rest like EVERY other muscle in your body.
If you are still unhappy with your body by prom, there are plenty of things to wear underneath your dress to slim a midsection. There are many varieties of things like Spanx, and if your back is showing in your dress, you can a spanx that lines just your belly area. Good luck, and just remember, no one's body is perfect! :)

You can't make your body lose weight in specific areas, you just have to lose weight in general. The best way is to cut out sugar and junk food. Make sure you don't eat empty carbs (white flour), and do a lot of cardio mixed with weight training. Since you want to do it at home, I would go running, or jump rope. Do situps and push ups and lunges as well.
u are barely 14 so u need a good diet to lose weight consume an average of 1300-1600 calories daily and do 20 mins of exercise such as walking or cardio
eat ALOT OF HEALTHY FATS such as almonds,cashews, nuts, pecans, fish, salmon,avocado
eat 2-5 fruits daily aim at 2-4 veggies daily drink 5-8 cups of water daily thru out the day..
limit ur junks and if u have a sweet tooth eat a granola bar, a jelly, yogurt, nuts, smoothie

When my stomach used to be flat, I was running three times a week, doing a bit of weights and core workouts but most importantly eating healthy. Avoid sugars and anything processed and try incorporating veggies in all your meals. dont starve though..

cigarettes and cocaine are good options. Also I hear people have success with bulimia and anorexia.

You're very pretty! How rude of those people to say otherwise, especially your family. First and foremost please know that you don't ever need to compare yourself to others, not even family members.
If you want to lose some weight then do abdominal and core exercises, anything as simple as situps and pushups (try 10 of each the first day, 20 the next, and work your way up to doing 50 of each per day). Also, to tone your body try cardio workouts, you can get these on DVD or take a class.
It's really simple if you think about it, the key is commitment. Motivate yourself to exercise every day and you will be healthy and happy!
