I need to lose 6% of my body fat
I am 5'2 &135 pounds.
How many pounds do I have to lose to decrease my body fat by 6%?
Oh....well how much would I have to lose to get to 20% body fat. And yes I am around 26% body fat.

It's not a "pounds = fat" issue. It's a muscle vs. fat issue that you want to address.
Muscle burns calories faster, so the more muscle you have on your body, the more calories you burn in everyday activities (metabolism). In any event, you'll need to change your diet and exercise routines to make a new body, so start now.
Worry about where the goal is after you get on a roll losing some weight. Set a goal where you lose 20 pounds in 3 months. That's just 6-7 pounds a month. I guarantee you'll look and feel better if you do this.
BTW, it's not a good idea to stand on the scale every day. Having a day where you gain one pound can discourage you. If you're truly giving the effort, you can weigh every 3-4 days to get results information you need.

Do what I did, I call it the chemotherapy diet.
Eat less every day, not a lot less, just about 25% less. Over a weekend, severely cut your caloric intake to 300-500 calories a day.
It is not a healthy way to lose weight, but I lost about 10 pounds every 3 week period.
Okay, so at your measurements, you're probably 26% body fat, give or take.
If you decreased your body fat by 6%, you'd be at about 24.5% body fat. (6% of 26 is about a percent and a half.)
You only need to lose about 5 pounds to get there.

Keep using the treadmill, but use other things too, they're all meant for different things, losing fat, gaining muscles, getting toned.. You should see a difference =]

almost impossible to tell without pictures and information on how well you do on cardio. Just work out at a gym. To lose 6% of weight you have to lose 8.1lbs

i'm the same age height and weight as you. do some decline presses for your chest. i've been doing them and the results are quick and amazing. i have pretty solid pecs now. for your abs, just do crunches (real ones) and leg lifts. do as many as you can, but don't over do it. it will work out everything, including obliques. it shouldn't take that long for results. make sure to lay off of junk food too.
