You poor thing!! Its an autoimmune disease meaning your immune system is constantly compromised leaving you open to any and all kind of infections. So is important that when you are sick you take care of yourself and give yourself time to recover.
Ask your doctor if he can reccomend anything to give you a boost
hope this helps

When you have lupus, your immune system can't tell the difference between you and bad invaders like bacteria, viruses and parasites. Your immune system may attack healthy parts of you and let the germs get off scott free!
If you are taking medication for lupus, it is suppressing your immune system. That makes you more likely to catch things and harder to get over them.
One of the major symptoms of lupus is profound fatigue. It is important to rest BEFORE you get exhausted and change your goals to be more reasonable. If you push too hard one day, you may end up in bed for three days!

Lupus is the place your immune equipment assaults your individual organs. i think of using fact the immune equipment is often energetic, whilst a real possibility happens, that's not as effective to responding to it. i understand i've got had food and mouth sickness two times as nicely! i'm consistently fatigued or maybe whilst i'm not ill with something particular, i think ill.

The people who don't often get sick, may have been exposed to and got more illness as children, maybe milder illnesses. Take for instance mono, when you're a toddler, you get such mild symptoms but you're still immune to it for life afterwards.
I've also heard that kids that have older siblings get a lot of their illnesses before they go to school, and therefore they don't miss as much school as older siblings.
Hard to really tell what the answer is but you're probably on the right tract.
