Question: i am 5 weeks pregnant and am suffering from severe diarrhea and have a little mucous in my poop. is this really bad?

I had constipation when I was pregnant. Prenatal vitamins, increased hormones, and increased blood and fluids (all a part of normal pregnancy) can cause your body to react in many different ways, especially your digestion and bowels. Drink plenty of fluids and talk to your Dr. about it during your next visit.

in the experience that your particularly worried you will desire to call your prevalent practitioner. yet i'm almost 31 weeks pregnant appropriate now, and diarrhea sounds super whilst in comparison with no having a circulation for a pair of month with no rx.

I had that too when I was pregnant. I was always gettin struck down with diarrhea. I thought I was the only woman in the world who got whilst pregnant but apprantly it's quite common. xx

Eat alot of fruits!!!! and veggies too. But try to eat prunes, apples, pears, etc.... and eat salads ands healthy foods like wheat, and eat some beans too (pinto) Do Not Eat Cheese!!!!! It will constipate you like crazy. Try some ice cream after you eat, that is a natural laxative, and try drinking some orange juice and alot of water. Some doctors say you can take laxatives and some say not to, it just depends on how you feel about it and what your motherly instincts tell you. Good Luck!
