Hi, I am looking for some tips on loosing weight. I have tried a high protein diet, worked for 3 months, then stopped. Tweaked it as suggested, no effect. I have tried vlcd, all that does is makes me gassy. I have tried eating healthy and exercise, but after being on my feet 10 hours I have no interest in going for a walk, and I have bad knees, so I can't do much in the way of strenuous exercise......
Serious answers please.

Breakfast - fruits or Oatmeal or low fat milk cereal.Lunch-whole wheat sandwich any fruit ,soup,lentils ,beans anything, Dinner - should be very light and not late than 8pm.No oily food no junk food,no soft drinks ,only fresh juices and water to drink.........One day of week eat whatever u want .Easy exercise - skipping rope 600-700 times .it will only take 10-15 min. It help losing full body weight. Good luck

The basics of weight loss are not as complicated as people make it out to be. You need to simply change your diet to healthy whole foods, fruits and veggies and get plenty of exercise.
This is hard to do for most of us because we are tempted with junk foods all the time.

Just stick to the basics. Eat 5-6 small portions a day and lower your carbohydrates (rice, bread, potatoes etc).
If you have bad knees and don't like running. I would suggest cycling or SWIMMING!
