Question: Im 15 and constantly worry about my weight, i weigh 102 pounds and am 5.5ft tall. My weight is getting me down and i NEED to lose weight, and fast. Please help? NO you don't you are 5ft 5inches tall I am 5'2 went I was 15 I weighed about 100 which is very thin. At 18 I weighed 106 which was perfect. NO. 1 Quit weighing your self build you muscles tone them. Find a picture of some one you like the way they look but not too thin or find a piece of clothing you want to look good in. And go for that look you are too thin you don't want someone to put their arm around you and feel bones. or fat but a nice firm muscle is nice. And I will bet if you gain about 3 to 8 pounds your clothes will fit better look better and you will feel great. If you look at a weight chart it would probably say you should weigh about 130 or so give or take 10 lbs. I am suppose to weight about 115 and that is thin especially at my age now. But at 15 I felt that was a little too heavy. You need to gain weight not lose. You didn't say if you were a boy or girl. But either way being too thin can cause alot of health problems

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together. Running is the most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack, disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target your problem areas for men and women. It's not necessarily to become a bodybuilder or even join a gym - a couple of dumbbells will help you to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

After my girlfriend had a baby she tried all types of workouts but the two that worked best for her were her boxing classes and the stripper pole aerobics. The quickest way to loose weight is probably crash dieting, but it really is superficial (I have tried it) and you do quickly regain more weight afterwards and it isn't healthy. Change your relationship with food, you will loose weight and keep it off, and it isn't as slow as you think. Think about why you are eating? You DON'T need to diet, just alter your eating habits, it is ok to eat what you like but we get into habits of eating a lot more than we need; eat conscientiously, don't ban any food but eat what you want but in moderation and only when you are truly hungry. When you feel full STOP EATING. You need food to survive, like fuel for your engine. Not to determine or alter your mood/emotions. You wouldn't fill a car with twice as much gas as the tank can hold, so when you are looking at a huge plate of food think about how much you need to run yourself for the next couple of hours. Snacking as a rule is bad, but actually small meals frequently keeps the metabolism up, so try having some fruit/veg something like an apple of some carrot sticks in between meals. Also drink! Your body does need lots of water, and a lot of the time when you think you're hungry you might just be thirsty so when you do feel a bit hungry try a glass or 2 of water, leave it 20min or so and see if you are still hungry. Light exercise or as much as you are comfortable with. A brisk walk, 15 min jog... anything to increase from what you are doing. Cardio is obviously good for fat burning but do some weights as muscle burns more fat. The general rule of eat less and burn more is true. Eat what you NEED not what you want. I wouldn't recommend restricting calories to anything lower than 1250, as you NEED these cals to function, that doesn't mean you can't up the physical activity. Your only 15, I would suggest dieting. Also, 102, 5'5; it seems to me that you don't need to lose weight. I don't know if you are a guy or girl. But in either case, there is such a thing as too skinny. Speaking from both a prospective of attractiveness and health.
