No...mass gainers are junk supplements which just load you up with calories you don't need so you'll get fat. All supplements for building muscle, burning fat, increasing height, etc. are scams which is why no legitimate health organization will endorse them and no pharmaceutical company wants to make them. Unless it is very hard for you to gain weight, don't go for the weight gainers. They'll put on more fat than muscle. They're only meant for extremely skinny people who can't gain weight no matter what they do or eat. Keep your protein intake high at all times in all your meals, but don't always eat starchy carbs. Save the high carbs for IMMEDIATELY after your workout and eat it along with your protein powder. This will help the protein go straight to your muscles. It's very hard to lose alot of fat and gain alot of muscle at the same time. I suggest just going in a calorie surplus and focus on gaining the muscle, so when it's time to lose the fat, all that muscle will help make burning fat a breeze. Muscle burns fat indirectly. So go with that.

To gain weight you need to consistently consume more calories than you burn during the day and from exercise. If you stop using the product you'll just need to consume an adequate amount of calories to sustain your desired weight from healthy sources. People seem to think you need to load up on protein to gain weight. That is not true. If you consume too much protein, your body will just eliminate it because it can not absorb it all. The important thing is calories to consider when wanting to gain weight.
