Question: Before you say "You dont need to lose weight!" Im not saying im fat, I just have some problem areas left. Im 120 pounds and im around 5'4. I know you cant spot reduce, so basically id just like to know how to lose 10 pounds of fat and gain 5 back in muscle? I can do cardio everyday to lose fat and maybe strength train after? I honestly don't have a clue haha. Im a female as well :] Would becoming a vegetarian help? How long would it take to lose ten pounds? one month? two months? id be working out everyday for more than two hours, and id be on a diet of 1'200 calories. Thanks!

okay, to get into shape , speed up your metabolism, rid yourself of excess fat and lose weight ,,,,,do as follows: Stop drinking & smoking (if you do this regularly) eat fruits & vegetables all you can (buy a slow cooker /food steamer & rice/pasta cooker to make it easy on you)...(vegetables might not seem "tasty", like junk foods,, but can be as you aquire your taste to them..and are loaded with energy and nutrients)...avoid all junk food, cokes, sweets, etc...and drink mainly water (green tea , juice & milk being the other options you drink). If you eat meat ,,use only steamed, baking or grilled methods for preparing fish or chicken. also, do an hour of walking each day at least. or some type of excercise. * you should lose about 10 lbs per month

Well I have to say one thing, I don't know how cerials work with you but they never work with me i always wind up making too many somehow in a bowl! So I normally just make toast, it takes longer to make so I don't get too tempted to make it more than once. So for breakfast i'd normally go for 2 slices of either white/wholemeal and a piece of fruit. (I normally have an apple). Then a sandwich for dinner with maybe another piece of fruit - places like tesco do prepacked ones so you can count the calories. Then for tea i'd go for something like one fish, some veg like peaas & carrots, or i'd go for that batterless fish have a few piece and some veg, a slice of wholemeal with it, and a piece of fruit again. <-- the calories in this must only be around 1200-1500, but yeah i say track your calories anyway. ALSO. If you're gonna use a lot of weight let me tell you one thing! You can lose weight with diet alone, but one: exercise makes it faster & TWO: most importantly i think you have less chance of having excess skin if you exercise too or it not as bad. I would definitely implement this. (I didn't and I've some excess skin -.- ) so .. yeah. that's about all i know. Not sure about the whey protein sorry dunno .. as for supplements all you really need at a minimal level is to make sure you're taking a multivitamin supplement each day. maybe a calcium pill or 2 like one at morn, one at night (depending on the dosage in the tablets) to help keep your bones strong for your exercise routines.

if you are already at the optimal size and simply want to tone areas, then focus on those ares specifically. if its your legs and butt then do more squats lunges leg curls in the high reps say 12-15 same anywhere else. if its arms barbell curls concentration curls if its chest bench press you have to eat at least 1200 -1500 calories a day if your active. dont reduce calories and dont become a vegan to lose fat. its a lifestyle change not a dietary one
