i am a 17 yr old guy who is 6 ft. big frame, and weighs 236 lbs. i have been trying to lose some weight and heres what ive been doing: run at gym for an hour, have strength and conditioning class every other day at school, and walk my dog for an hour at the end of the day. also ive been eating healthier and drinking only water. i started doing this a couple days ago for someone special to me (http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AoR22iWCJAPqDj2Hq9yoCcAazKIX;_ylv=3?qid=20120401191745AA7MwBf). how long will it take to lose my belly overhang (not much), love handels, and chubby cheeks. throw in some other advice if you know anything i dont.

I was about your size last year- 6'2'' 210lbs. I dropped 20 lbs in a month from eating healthy and weight training alone. With bigger guys like us it's easy to drop pounds faster than smaller people.
Check out this page for some exercise routines. You can pick up a set of weights for under $100 and do all the exercises at home.

You only need dumbbells for this one, I'm actually about to start one like it for the first time today.
At one point I was 245 lbs, so I've been there, I know how it is. I can PROMISE you if you stick with a plan of some exercise and a good diet, you will notice a difference within weeks! If I can do it, so can you. Good luck brother!

First off you do not have to spend any money at all to get health and shed a few extra pounds. Anyone that says you need to spend money is either after your money or is on some kind of scam.
Weight loss and getting in good shape is just eating a little less and being a little more active.
Walk more, drive less. If you drive, park 5 minutes walk away form your destination...
About the eating; nothing special is going to shed the weight, so eat what you normally eat, just a bit less. Less fat in meals will instantly help with weight loss.
All these gimmicks and spending money we don't have and don't actually need to spend really make me mad.
My GF and I go for a long walk (30 minutes) every night - rain or sine after out evening meal. If you search on Zuzana on YouTube, she has some excellent exercises you can do at home They all work in getting you beach ready!

got nuts with nuts eating a handful of nuts will help you stay full try soaking them in water for a different texture

don't overwork yourself, if you were not very active before and you have started doing this exercise you shouldn't be too worried. drink lots of water throughout the day and try switching cardio routines, doing crunches, sit ups, whatever you feel you're able to do. it should take a week or two for you to start seeing results but if you keep this up you will see big results within the next few months.

if you re having trouble getting started make a small move such as starting an eating log or buying walking shoes you re three times more likely to follow through if you start with small gestures such as these
