Hi.. I've been trying to lose some weight for about 5 months.. I know it's not long but still it's extremely demotivating not to lose ANYTHING not even a pound. I'm not overweight.. I'm right in the middle of my BMI but I want to be right at the beginning. I'm even starting to consider laxatives or something because this is just starting to get silly. I feel stupid and fatter everyday even though my weight is not shifting at ALL.
So my question is, do any crash diets work? I know they mess up your metabolism and stuff but do you know any good ones? I need to lose 22 lbs to be at the beginning of my BMI. Please help? Summer is just around the corner and I feel like its going to be the worst ever.

There is no easy, fast way to lose weight in a healthy manner. If you eat right and exercise regularly, you'll see changes happen fairly quickly, and they'll stay that way.
That's why so many people are fat, it's hard to be in shape.

There are lots of myths out there that will make you fatter and depressed like cutting carbs, fats and calories. See site below and take the time to learn the right way to do it. It also tells why you cannot lose weight too fast. Example drink 5 gallons water right now and it will kill you. Eat 20 pounds of food now and it will kill you. Lose 20 pounds of weight now-- what will happen. You can't do it, can you? Can you even lose 5 pounds in the next hour?
Which has more calories: a plain potato or one with a healthy fat like olive oil (extra virgin and cold pressed)? The latter. Which is more fattening? The former. How can this be? The fat slows down the calories going into the blood (see glycemic load and glycemic index) making it less fattening.

Take junk food and fast food out of your diet completely. Seriously exercise for 45 minutes every 2 days and go confide in a friend or see a therapist/weight therapist. Coming from someone who's been struggling with eating disorders, don't do that to yourself. You're probably beautiful and just letting society's bone-thin standards get to you.
And keep in mind, muscle is denser and heavier than fat. So you may just be toned/muscular.

If you are not losing weight ...then you are not doing something right.
You need to be getting in workouts at least 4 times a week that includes weights and cardio. you also need to be eating around 1200 calories a day...packed full of healthy foods. Lots of lean protein, veggies, good low fat dairy, and fruit. Lol...it is not possible to NOT lose weight if you structure your lifestyle properly...trust me. So obviously you have no been trying that hard. Get active and cut out any junk that you are shoving into your face.

Reduce your intake of pork. Pork is not something that can help you to lose weight. So the lesser pork you eat the better chances you have of losing weight. And remember that pork includes the pork products as well, things like bacon, ham and sausages.
