Question: I would like some tips and tricks on losing weight, also tips on getting a flat stomach cuz I find my tummy a little bulging which looks weird and I can't wear any tight dresses or tops without looking awkward

Don't get on the diet rollercoaster. Think of fitness and weight as a lifestyle choice. Any weight that is lost through "fast track" dieting is almost always gained back (plus some). Commit to a healthy diet, low in sugar, high in natural whole foods and plenty of water. Exercise at least 3-4 times per week, and do it for the joy of movement, not for the "I have to get to such-and-such weight". Mental and emotional balance about weight is important. If you are in a state of resistance, struggling to lose weight, trying to avoid eating this and that, fighting the pounds, that mindset in and of itself will create a battle you can't win. A flat stomach comes from several factors - one that many people don't talk about is posture. Holding it in and up as you sit and stand will train it into a flatter position. Never hunch or slouch forward. If you are watching TV, get an exercise ball and sit on that, rolling yourself backward several times to work your abs. In bed, laying flat on your back, place your hands on your lower belly, then left your head gently and lift one leg at a time, focusing on flattening your belly and feeling the muscles in your abdomen. Hi, this is the fastest and most effective way I know to lose weight. You can still eat whatever your folks fix, but this diet will help you eat smaller portions (which after all, is what weight loss is all about): 1) Go on the 5-4-3-2-1 diet http://www.easy-weightloss-tips.com/5-4-3-2-1diet.html It works really well, but choose healthy foods to eat (lean protein, veggies, fruits, whole-grains, low-fat dairy, heart-healthy oils). First of all, spinning is not around in a circle. It's like riding a stationary bike. Second, you could modify a few small things in your diet...you could cut out sodas and juices. Drink mainly water. Cut out any alcohol if you drink that b/c its a ton of empty calories. You can also cut out snacking between meals. If you snack, make sure its healthy, like fruits or raw veggies. Also, don't eat anything after supper if you can help it. Eating at night before bed makes many people gain weight. Another good tip is try drinking a full glass of water before a meal. It tricks your stomach into thinking its fuller than it is when you eat, therefore you don't eat nearly as much but you also aren't hungry either. Hope this helps!

Start running sprints or intervals. For example run 12x100m with a 5 min break in between each 4 and your rest for each 100m is walking back. You can't lose fat in just one area so you have to lose weight in general. Start eating more protein and less packaged foods. Exercise more in general and maintain a healthy diet and soon you will see results.

Do.something you love i was 240 i loved bmx so i got in to it and i lost alot of weight i went from 240 to 136 i feel great just find a sport that you like and get serious about it

Keep doing all the things you are doing:) exercise ways anyway:) So all of your weight is muscle, thus saying we need to reduce your muscle to get you to lose weight. There are sown things we need to state before I tell you how. You are 13 and very short. You will grow and that weight will stay but you will get thinner as you grow, also don't stress about it too much ok? You are 13! You will be beautiful by 16! Anyway so the reason your muscles get so big and thick is bc when you cheer and lift weights it's putting extra weight on your muscles, thus making them get larger. To get them smaller you have to break down muscle proteins, you do this by running, straight running for about an hour and thirty minutes. Overall running for an hour and thirty minutes with breaks, but not too long of breaks. The reason it has to be so long is because when you run, the first thing your body breaks down is carbs, then after about thirty minutes it burns fat and when it gets to be an hour it starts burning muscle proteins! :D So I say stop weight lifting and continue cheer and volleyball, but do alot more running and you should see results within a few weeeks
